hi, welcome to hell. cackles loudly. okay no - hello! we're mellifluous. welcome to the one and only page of the mellifluous roleplay. we're about to hit our second year anniversary at the end of february, so yeah. we're pretty old. but, that shouldn't stop you from joining! remember, old is gold kids. but anyways, we wouldn't be here without the great people we have here! i don't want to say too much, because you should experience it yourself. but, like for example - you don't need to be normal to fit in. we're anything but normal. pretty much 90% of the things we discuss are so random, and it just gets even more random when the timeline is hella fast. everything pretty much makes sense to us, because we pretty much have a variety of people here. we could even cover at least 10 topics in 5 minutes if we wanted to. and because of the people here, we also have at least one person online, so no worries about a slow or dead timeline! am i right. did i mention there when i say that mellifluous is family that we're literally family? everyone's related somehow, and because of that, probably 95% of the couples are committing right now. ha ha ha. but wow, doesn't that honestly sounds like a mess? you right, but we're an organized mess. are you convinced to join us? because i swear, we're all cool and nice people! we don't even bite that hard. so, come join us at mellifluous, friends. i may or may not of had spoiled everything for you guys. whoops. bye!!!

rules and regulations!

one. subscribing is required. upvoting is loved, but optional.
two. this is a closed rp, therefore no interactions with outsiders (including previous members or members that haven't been verified).
three. following and rting fanaccounts are accepted, but limit yourself to less than 10 accounts.
four. this is a non-au rp, so do some background research about your character. 
five. one character per soul.
six. character changes are unlimited. however, you can only switch after being 2 weeks active (5 pure tweets per day, doesn't need to be consistent).
seven. respect everyone. hating, facechasing, biased replies, being insensitive, and blocking will not be tolerated.
eight. the tl is pg-16 and limited ooc.
nine. we only accept straight relationships. however, the lgbt community are free to join us.
ten. the activity rule is 25 pure tweets within 5 days.
eleven. answer this with your reservation: cats or dogs?
twelve. newcomers are required to tweet 25 pure tweets within 24 hours after their verification.
thirteen. maximum time for any hiatus is one month. feel free to ask for extensions.
fourteen. activity rule for people on hiatus are to tweet either 5 (hiatus) or 10 (semi-hiatus) pure tweets within 10 days.
fifteen. relationships are allowed after both parties have overall been in the rp for five days and reached 500 tweets.
sixteen. move-in couples are allowed.
seventeen. if you follow more than outsiders, you'll be given a warning. if it's 30+ outsiders, you'll be asked to leave. this includes fanaccounts.
eighteen. listen to the admins if they warn you. if you choose not to listen after a certain amount of warnings, you'll be kicked out.
nineteen. if you need to inform or are curious or concerned, do tell admins or base!

how to join!

one. subscribing is required. upvoting is loved, but optional.
two. reserve with an available character. reservations will be rejected if the character is already reserved or part of the rp.
three. comment or mention base and wait for an admin to approve your reservation before making your account. if you do make your account beforehand, we won't verify you.
four. you will have 24 hours to make your account. extensions are accepted.
five. what you actually have to include in your reservation is the shortened/abbreviated version of please and thank you. (example: hello, may i pls reserve secret's song jieun? ty!)
six. character changes are unlimited. however, you can only switch after being 2 weeks active (5 pure tweets per day, doesn't need to be consistent).
seven. the username format is either (name/initials)mlf or mlf(name/initials). we discourage underscores and numbers in the usernames.
eight. put 'mlf', 'mellifluous' or something that shows you're a part of mellifluous somewhere in your bio.
nine. if you are using a recycled account, please clean out everything from that account. that would be tweets, favorites, followers, etc. the only exceptions would be if they are ghosts or if you were a previous member of mlf.
ten. once you've made your account, only follow the base and admins. we'll ask to unfollow everyone else if you do end up following everyone.
eleven. mention base about your presence and wait patiently for your verification. if your friend reserved for you, mention the password as well.
twelve. there is to be no talking or tweeting before verification.
thirteen. once you've been verified, now you can follow everyone and go ahead and introduce yourself! 
fourteen. now, have fun and go enjoy yourself at mellifluous! remember that you have to tweet 25 pure tweets within 24 hours to be considered active.
fifteen. kickouts are on days that are a multiple of 5.
