Stupid Cupid
Description
Ha Na Eun is an average 18 year old studying in a normal school with friends. Cheerful and dim witted in nature, Na Eun is excellent in sports, particularly the volleyball, making her the captain of the school volleyball team. Everyone in the school gets along with her and she is particularly nice to everyone although she hasn't got very striking looks, but she known for her cheerfulness. A slight problem was that eventually she fell in love with her new classmate Shin Hoseok. To her it was love at first sight, and in Korea first loves are very important. But unfortunately while Na Eun was confessing to Hoseok, she was rejected and later found out the Hoseok was dating Yejin, a girl she despised.
Whats worse, Na Eun has a sensitive heart and she goes really quickly into depression. On her way back home from school she decided to commit suicide, thinking she wasn't worthy to anyone at all if Hoseok didn't like her. She went up to an old radio station building where there weren't as many people and decided to jump from the roof. At once it started raining, and before her eyes there was a flash. A cupid appeared before her eyes. The cupid was sent from the heavens to fufil Na Eun's dying wish, which was to make Hoseok fall in love with Na Eun.
What happens if Na Eun gets into contact with this stubborn adorable cupid?
Foreword
Dedicated to my imaginary friends, both in the real world and the ones i talk to in my dreams. When the world for me was down, all i could do was dream about a life so wonderful that i couldn't even imagine. And now, i want to give back this story to my loved ones. A normal cupid that we would all imagine is a cupid with bows and arrows. And at once at the first shot, the cupid straightaway makes two couples fall in love. They believed that this love between the couple was destined and was to be. However, in my story the cupid has evolved to become smarter. A couple can't just merely fall in love with some spell, and then later found out that the reason they fall in love is plainly just a stupid play.
The cupid can grant any wish for a couple to fall in love, but for Na Eun a heartbreak made her think of suicide. It was tough for her because she fears the rejection and she doesn't know anything about love. The theory of love at first sight was always appealing to her calling out for her to believe it. Her older sister doesn't teach her because she herself is a player, and a good looking muse for men. Her dad passed away before she even knew him so her mum is now a widow. Being clueless in love, she was lucky because she had the cupid. This cupid, being the youngest cupid of all has some secrets within him, and the fact that he knows so much about love surprised Na Eun. Although knowing about love, he is very sensitive regarding his own love life, and doesn't want to speak of any of it.
The underlying meaning of this story is about the story on how two different beings help each other and the true meaning of love and troubles awaiting in both these different beings.
