Chat Me Up

Description

Kibum and Jonghyun are close friends who have been through thick and thin together. However, events in Kibum's past and his time spent with Jonghyun over the years has changed his initial feelings of simply "friendship" with the older boy, and suddenly he has no idea how to handle these blossoming emotions. After a night out with his friend Woohyun, Kibum decides to give an online chatting/dating site for LGBT men a try as a way to distract himself from his confusing relationship with Jonghyun for a bit. Unfortunately (or fortunately) for Kibum, his online flirting is not with a random stranger, as he first assumes.

Foreword

This was my submission for Colorful World Round 1! It was a really great SHINee fic fest to participate in, and the Mods were super sweet and hardworking :) I highly reccommend you all to check out the other submissions and consider taking part in Round 2 when it begins ^^

Chapter 1: oh my goodness this was sooo cute. when jonghyun said thank you comme for inspiring me after he performed my jaw dropped. i mean, i knew jonghyun was blue night. however, reading it in kibum's pov, i felt as if i hadn't known the whole time. usually i dont read fics like these, but this oneshot was just so adorable that once i started, i couldn't stop. good job!

This was so cute! I never would have thought that Woohyun planned this, I thought Jonghyun just saw the profile and was like "woah, that's Kibum's favourite food. And his favourite song. And his favourite movie. And his favourite painting." but this is also super cute~~ ♡
I loved how they were still so normal around each other, teasing and being cool and all of that. It's nice to see them being both lovers and best friends~~
