Jungkook loves music.

He spends most of his money buying old records, and he enjoys looking for the rare, collectible ones you can only find in small markets. 

He keeps them safe, in his room, on the shelf over his bed. 

He wouldn’t be able to choose his favorite, all of them had a story. Each one of them brings back memories, people, circumstances, places, to which it’s related.

He grabs one. He plays it. And Jimin’s face appears before his eyes.

“So you like music, don’t you?” 

“Quite a lot, yeah”

“Which kind of?”

“Hmm mostly indie rock, rock and old stuff, you know”

“Wow, it’s wonderful to find someone this days who has a well-defined taste in music”

Jungkook smiles, because he loves when people compliment him about the music he listens to.

“Would you like recommending me something to listen to?”

He narrows his eyes. Normally he would be jealous of the music he listens to, but Jimin looks truly interested

“Okay I will, just…give me some time okay?” 

And this makes Jimin smile in satisfaction.

A few days later Jimin receives a text message, a very very long one, a list of songs.

Jimin smiles, because he knows the other is lying.

The songs end up in a playlist. ‘J’ is the name of it. 

And no need to say that in no more than one week he knows by heart the lyrics of almost all the songs.

Jimin is on the tram on his way back from university. He is jamming MGMT ‘Time To Pretend’ and he doesn’t care about other people’s eyes on him.
