A chaebol couple who had trouble conceiving, decided after 5 years into their marriage to adopt older orphans who were overlooked because couples prefered babies.

Sunny, the eldest was 6 when they adopted her and Jessica and Tiffany were four. 

Sunny her parents passed away in the gulf war while Jessica’s mother would not survive long after Jessica’s birth so she was put in an orphanage and surprisingly no one wanted her, perhaps because she was half American. 

Tiffany her mother passed away when she was 2 years old and when she was 3 years old, her father followed her mother.
