as a child, jimin has found himself infatuated with the language of music — specifically dancing after being exposed to viewing a dance performance come to his hometown of busan. coming from a family of music enthusiasts, specifically his mother, it was common for Jimin to develop a passion with rhythm and tempo involving his body. convincing his parents to allow him to attend dance classes, the latter have been dancing consecutively since he was eight years old — specializing in both contemporary and modern. to park jimin, dancing is a language in which he can express himself with his body knowing that at times, he has a hard time approaching others because of bullying he dealt with during his elementary years. as a child, jimin have always strived to be involved with music and he intends to fulfill the dream.

Growing up, Taemin was teased relentlessly for his effeminate appearance. He never showed it on the outside, but deep down it bothered him greatly. It hurt even more when word had spread that he was interested in men, and the teasing quickly escalated to more hurtful words and bullying. Despite the self-consciousness, depression, and inner turmoil that he felt, he managed to maintain a smile in front of the few friends who always had his back. Taemin had a modest upbringing. His family never had much money, but he loved to dance, and took school very seriously. As a result, he ended up getting good enough grades to attend the university of his dreams where he could hopefully, go on to major in dancing. The day he heard the news that he was accepted was, without a doubt, the greatest day of his life. Taemin could finally make his dreams of becoming a dancer come true.
