030. The Shower
Polyrhythm [HIATUS]
He’s welcomed with the sound of Taehyung and Jungkook giggling in the livingroom. He closes the door loudly enough to alert them that he’s home, but they don’t seem to mind. It sounds like they’re having a tickle-fight. The couple never fails to amaze him at how quickly they can go from being little monsters to small fluffy puppies.
Jimin walks past the couch towards the kitchen. He’s starving. The boys barely spare him a glance.
He opens the fridge. His chilled almonds are nowhere to be seen.
“Tae! Where are my chilled almonds?”
“Your- haha stop Kookie… Your what?”
“My chilled almonds!”
“You chill your almonds?” comes Jungkook’s voice.
Jimin sighs. “Whatever…”
He skips breakfast. He showers instead. Showers away the sweat and fried chicken stains from yesterday. They kissed again. Him and Yoongi. He’s so ing confused. It’s confusing. But at the same time so simple. Blond hair... Red lips... Collarbones…

“I have work today,” Jimin sits down on the couch, trying to ignore the obvious hickeys on Taehyung’s throat, “so you’ll have do the grocery shopping.”
“But I don’t know what we need,” Taehyung whines, nuzzling his face into the crook of Jungkook’s neck.
“Just the basics. Lettuce, instant ramen, almonds. You’ll do fine. You have Kookie. What are you watching?”
“Yesterday’s M Countdown. I wanna see if that rookie group managed to win.” Taehyung looks serious. He always is when it comes to these things. That dork.
“Hey, where were you yesterday anyways?” Jungkook asks, playing with his lover’s fingers.
“.... Nowhere.”
“Ok… Here they come! Look at them! They are so pretty!”

Jimin puts on his apron and name tag and takes a deep breath. Seokjin doesn’t seem to be in a good mood today, so he’s a bit more nervous than usual. But it’s fine. As soon as he starts blending the drinks he relaxes. The music playing is making him relax too. He hums along with Taeyang, completely forgetting about everything and everyone around him. But then the bell rings. The one that alerts them about a new customer entering. And Seokjin isn’t by the counter. Dammit.
