A/N : Here I'm ditching my korean class to write this fic

Lay down on my bed, tired from thinking too much, I still doubted if me and Jaebum going out is a good idea, of course it’s good for me. But, his parent must want their son to have a normal marriage, have a grandchild or something like that.  Well, same goes for me, but my parents are open-minded since my sister is lesbian.

What should I do? Should I tell him my doubt?

Bzzt

“Hello?” I said. “Choi Youngjae-ssi, this is Prof. Park. I need your help with some assignment since you’re interested in music therapy you’ll like this one, are you free?” he said. “I’m free, I’ll be there in 15 minutes, thank you Prof,” I said, preparing my bag and things. He hangs up, and I’m on my way to there.

When I arrived, I immediately go to lecturer room. “Prof. Park?” I asked. “Over here, I need you to read this book about music therapy, and give me your opinion about it. If you can make a review it’ll be good.” He said giving me a book, neither thick nor thin. “Okay, Prof” I answered. “You can read it anywhere you like, but can you finish by today? Give me your honest opinion okay? Because it’s for our next visit” he said. “You’re giving me this important assignment?? I can finished by today but are you sure you want me to do this?” I asked, never thought that this will be our next visit.

“Yeah, you’re my best student here, just do it” he said. I just nodded and make my way to library to read this. Our major always have visit to phycology center that have a music therapy section every 3 months, I think it’s a good thing that I always stay behind because I got some extra assignment that helped me to understand music therapy more.

I sent a message to Jaebum hyung first, just in case he searches me, since I’m going to turn off my phone.

To: Jaebum Hyung

Jaebum hyung, I’m in university right now. My professor give me an assignment, I’m going to turn off my phone. Don’t come here because I’ll ignore you okay? ㅋㅋ

If you want to come, come after 4 hours from now okay? Love you!

Send. Turning off my phone and started reading, since I hated to be bothered while reading, I sit near the window in the corner. 

After done reading, I started to write the review, this is may not be the best one but it still would be a good experience for us beginner to learn more. Finished writing the review, I give the book to Prof. Park and talk about the details that I don’t want to write about.

When I just about to go down, “Youngjae?”, I turned around, “Jinyoung hyung?”

“Hey! Where’s Jaebum? You’re not with him?” he asked, putting his arm around me. I smiled, still uncomfortable because I overheard his conversation with Jaebum hyung last night. “I was with him, but I need to do some assignment so yeah,” I answered. He looked at me for a second, and then asked, “Youngjae ah, we’re not close, but is there something bothered you?”

I shocked. Are Jaebum hyung and his friends are all mind reader?

“Your face is saying everything Youngjae ah, you’re looking at me like saying that I’m a mind reader,” he laughed. “Am I that easy to read? You just read my mind again, wow” I said. He laughed harder, “No, no, it’s because I’m like to read people’s body language. We can figure out almost everything through body language, so do you mind talked it with me?” he said, smiling.

“You’re like a mother figure, huh?” I said smiling, “A lot of people said that,”. Can I really consult with him?

I think it’s better consult to his best friend, rather than thinking by myself. “Can we talked at another place?” I asked, “Sure, let’s talked at our usual place, upper stairs” he said, leading the way, I just followed him. “Okay, here we are, talk?” he asked, “So this is where you guys splashed me water,” I looked down, remembering our first meet. He hummed, laughed a little. 

I calmed down myself first before starting the conversation, “Um, first, let me apologize,” I said. “Huh? Why?” he asked. “I overheard hyung and Jaebum hyung’s conversation last night,” I said. “Uh, oh, that’s no good, what are you hearing about? Do you listened till end?” he asked, panicked. “I listened half way, because I just woke up, but I stopped because I heard Jaebum hyung is coming to the room,”

“Don’t tell me you are worrying because what I said to Jaebum hyung,” he asked. I nodded, “Since you said he was straight, I wonder if it’s okay for us to have relationship,” I answered, “Isn’t it better for him to get a girl instead? I bet his parents would like him to have wife too, not a boyfriend,” I said. Jinyoung let out a sigh, “We’re pretty much the same huh,” I looked at Jinyoung hyung, wondering what he means.

“YoungK, my boyfriend now, was straight too,” he smiled, continuing, “His parents are not open-minded like mine, so we’re not accepted of course. I asked him, should we break up, for his sake, and he was mad for a week. I asked him, why, he said you don’t trust me that much?” I listened, shocked. “I shocked too, I said I trust you of course, then he shouted, then why you said you wanted to break up? We can be happy without them, why bother about it? I bet they’ll accept us if they’re seeing us happy more than anything. At that moment, I stunned, why I didn’t think about that before?”

I stunned too, why I didn’t think about that too? “So, my best suggestion for you is talk to Jaebum hyung. Communication is all you need in relationship,” he said, tapping my shoulder. “But, I’m afraid,” I said, he smiled, “I was scared too, but Jaebum hyung told me to talk to him directly, and I’m grateful for that, so talked to him too okay?”

I smiled, “I’ll try”. “You guys just go out and already facing problem, what did Jaebum do to you” he said, I just laughed. We walked down together, Jinyoung hyung is pretty much like Jackson hyung, he like to hugged me, when I asked why, he said “You are like teddy bear,” I just sighed as response.

“Youngjae ah,” I shocked, seeing Jaebum hyung infront of me. “Jaebum hyung! What are you doing here?” I asked, “Then I should leave already, see ya Youngjae!” Jinyoung said, pecked my cheek before releasing his hug, and going to Jaebum’s direction. “Jinyoung don’t be too close to my boyfriend,” Jaebum turned around, “Youngjae, your boyfriend is mad, please calm him down!” he shouted. I just chuckled, “Your phone is not active” he said. “Ah, I forgot to turn it on, sorry” I said. He hold my hand, frowning. I touched his cheek, “hey, you’re frowning now,” I said. “Kiss me” he said. “huh? Now? Here?” I said, panic. “Um, your punishment because you’re getting too close with Jinyoung,” he said, pouting. I laughed, “Jaebum ah, are you jealous?” I teased. He pulled me closer, our forehead is touching. “I am” he said. I kissed him lightly, “let’s go home, shall we?” I said, smiling.

He’s smiling now, holding my hand, “Let’s go,”

Why he’s so cute, seriously 

We’re talked about many things on the way to my home, but I can’t bring my doubt to the conversation. “Can I visit your house?” he asked. “Of course, I already stayed at yours though,” I said. He smirking, “you can go first, I need to search parking area first,” he said, I hummed as response and going first.

I should tell him about it, I should talk about it with him.

I throw myself on the couch, calming down myself. It’s not that big deal, why are you so afraid you scaredy cat. “Youngjae ah”. I hurriedly open the door, he come in and sit on the couch. “Do you want some drink?” I asked. He shake his head, and patted the empty area beside him, I sit there resting my head on his shoulder.

“Youngjae ah, what were you talking about with Jinyoung?” he asked suddenly. I flinched, “Uh, why?” I asked. “I hate it when you’re hiding something from me, so tell me” he said, looking at me. I felt more nervous, “Don’t look at me like that, I’m become more nervous,” I said, covering his eyes. “Then, tell me”

“I just consult something with Jinyoung hyung,” I said. “About?”

You can do this, “I overheard you and Jinyoung hyung last night, about your ex, about you was straight,” I said. “Don’t tell me you are doubt me?” he asked. “No, I’m not. It just that I worried about our relationship, you can find girlfriend instead of me. I bet your parents want you to have a normal relationship too, I bet they want to have grandchi..” Jaebum stopped me, by closing my mouth with his hand. “Stop, why can’t I have relationship with the person I truly love?” he asked, “No, it’s not like that, I love you too, but,” I said. “Then what do you doubting about? My parents? Of course they wanted me to have a normal relationship, but they also want me to be happy, and I’m happy with you. I think they can accept it, now can you accept me?”

I let out tears unconsciously, I wiped it fast, “sorry”. He hugged me, “Don’t cry, I don’t want you to cry. Sorry, I didn’t mean to mad at you, it’s just that I want you to know it” I hugged him back, “Sorry,”

“Okay, we should stop saying sorry all the time. Promise me that if you doubt something, whatever it is, tell me first, talk to me. Don’t to Jinyoung okay,” he said, caressing my cheek. I chuckled, “you’re still jealous about it? Promise,”. We intertwined our pinky, “Of course, the kiss is not enough you know,” he said, leaning forward. We kissed, not an intense one more like gentle, just to comfort each other. We separated just a bit, to see each other. I smiled, “I love you,” he kissed me once more before saying, “Me too,”

I’m glad I talked about it with him,
