Jace POV

- Year 1430 -

" Ha ! Take that you blundering idiot ." I said as I aimed my sword 

I sliced through his stomach and left aid our commander, she was having difficulty. I saw the guy sneak up behind, I sliced his back killing.

" Thank you, Jace ." She said 

" No worries Jeanne ." I said as I saw outta of corner of my eye 

" JEANNE ! LOOK OUT ." I shouted 

She turned around as she took her sword and launched through his stomach hitting the vital organs in the process.

" Good eye ." She said as she withdrawn her sword from the dead soldier 

I should probably introduce myself, I'm Kang Jace I'm nineteen years of age and whitlighter that can travel through time. 

I'm currently in the year of 1430, during the siege of compiégne. Our commander is Jeanne d'arc or better known as Joan of Arc.

" Commander, I don't know if we are going to win but let's die try ." I said as I stab other soldier 

I'm was actually born in 1996 on 1 day of January. So, I'm new years baby also full blooded whitelighter too. Yet, I'm disgrace to my family because I didn't marry whitelighter when I turned 14.

I'm more of a lone whitelighter, I cannot go to heaven because my parents banned me from there. So, they live there with other whitelighters that turned into angels.

I have tattoos and piercings, my hair is naturally silver with pure blue eyes along with milky white skin. 

I should get a tan. 

' Someone help me !.' 

What ?

' Help me please I beg of you !!.'

Before I knew it, I already orbed to where it was. I scouted my surroundings to find that I'm in Korea now.

I looked to a man in emperor clothing along three others but two of them are in soldier uniforms. While other one in house wear clothing and in pain.

Me, I'm dressed for battle with holding a sword drenched in blood.

 

" ! I was in the middle of siege ." I said annoyed 

They looked at me weirdly

" You ." I said to the soldier with black hair 

His piercing eyes met with mine giving off the vibe ' don't with me ' though I could care less

" What year is this ?." I asked 

" 1867 and its April ." He said 

Well that explains the heat 

" Whats wrong with that lad ?." I asked as I looked at the lad 

He say nothing 

" I can't heal him if I don't what happen to him that he ended up in that state of dying right now ." I said 

His eyes widen as the rest.

" He was protecting me and got injured in my place ." The other male spoke 

" Your highness, we took a vowed to protect you ." The lad in pain spoke 

I walked over to the lad in pain, opened his shirt and saw his wound.

" No, wonder you're dying that infection is very bad also applicant of meds was poorly kept with it ." I said 

I put hand over the wound and focus on the wound. The infection started to fade as if it wasn't there. Soon, the skin snitched itself back together without leaving scar.

" Now, that's done ." I said as focus back to the others 

" Which one of you's called me ?." I asked

" How dare you come in here demand such thing ? You should be kneeling in front of the great king ." Someone said 

" I'm Jace and I'm very important person ." I said    

" What kind of name is that ?." One of soldier asked 

" It's uni name anyways who called me to this time era ? I was in the middle of siege in France ! Now, I want answers I don't have time. I'm very busy person nowadays ." I said 

" But no one call you ." Other soldier said 
 
" How come this person doesn't bow to me ?." The man from before said 

" And who do you think are ? God ? Because that's only man I'm going to bow down too ." I said

" I'm King Kim Jae-Wook ." He said

" And that makes me care why ." I said sarcastically 

" You should care because he can kill you ." One soldier 

Kill me ! Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha ! That's good one 

" Man, I don't know who are but that's good one !." I said broke out into laughter 

" I'm being serious here and I'm General Kris Wu ." He said  

" I'm Jace and I'm whitelighter basically the only thing can kill me if I'm hit by other supernatural beings Mr. Wu ." I said 

They look weirded out by me 

" Plus, I can freeze you escape that way to before you can even get to me ." I said confidently 

" Your Highness, I believe this person has mental issue ." Kris said

" No, I don't have an mental issue but what I say before is true otherwise how else would see me in armor from the 1400s, cause armor has advanced from 1400s even further too ." I said 

" How further ?." Kris asked 

" Far enough to wear you only wear a vest that protects from bullets, wait a minute ! We getting off topic here, I need to know who call me because that person is my charge ." I said 

" Whats a charge ?." The healed lad said 

" A charge is someone that I have to protect, guide, and educate in certain areas. By the way, what's your name ?." 

" I'm Huang ZiTao but I prefer Tao ." He said 

" Tao ? It reminds of tea company ." I said smiling

" What do you mean protect ? I mean I can understand the guide part but I'm pretty sure that we protect people from anything ." Kris said 

" Can you heal somebody ? Can you protect yourself from an energy ball or fire ball ? No, you can't stop any of those things with a sword unless you have special sword that is. You cannot kill any supernatural creature with mere sword maybe with regular humans but not supernatural creature ." I said  

I looked at soldier whose name I have not heard yet.

" You there ." I said to the boy

He points to himself to confirm that I'm talking to him.

" Yeah, you ! Tell me your name ?." I said 

He shook his head no, he's hiding something. I froze time for momentarily that is but I did not freeze the boy.

" Now, you can tell me and don't worry that person you call a king cannot hear us ." I said

" My name is Amber but when in front of the king I'm Ace ." She said 

" You're a girl but don't worry secret is safe with me ." I said as unfroze time 
 
Everything began to move again.

" Peasant !." Jae-Wook said 

Wait ! I recognized that voice, it's my charge's voice. Don't tell me ! 

" You !." I said as my eyes widen 

" What ?." He asked annoyed 

" You're my charge !." I said
