Seems like everything was destined on that day. My first meeting and encounter with him and the rest of the members. Seems as if everything went great. I was done practicing with the other band members at the studio and had to attend another schedule which was to guest at arirang radio show at 1400.

I didn't really bother trying to find out who was the other guests as I already had enough on my plate trying to please the sajangnim.  I was told that only I was going for the schedule and the other band members are staying with the other crew to finish up the album preparations. 

"'Chalhae!Come back safely" Gray gave me a short hug and I followed the manager over.

The whole time basically, I was on my laptop playing and fixing the tempo and the feel of the songs. Didn't sound so satisfying as it seems and little did i know I have already arrived at the venue. I wore my jacket and headed to the radio station with my guitar . I noticed alot of fans at the front of the lift and I noticed the 5 men standing infront of the lift.

I squeezed through the crowd and headed my way to the lift and these 5 men were looking at me strangely. I was only 157cm and the guitar case was like the size of me. I greeted politely and realised that they pressed the same button indicating that they are gonna drop off at the same floor as me. I headed out and DJ Sam was hiding behind the pot of plants and surprised me from the back..

"'Eommaaaa!! Yah"..almost punched him and he gave me a tight hug.

"'It's been awhile!OMGOSH wheres the rest? Why are you here alone?'' DJ Sam asked since the previous time I was with the other members and this time I was alone.DJ Sam and me got close after i was an intern at the radio show and i wrote his scripts for his radio show and until today we keep in contact and sometimes produce songs together.

"'I'm alone apparently"' Returned him his hug, as i bowed and greeted the other staffs.

There was a male staff behind me and when i turned around, i bumped into him making him drop his papers and pen.

"'Mianhaeyo.OMGosh are you okay? I'm so sorry!!!" Quickly getting the things he dropped and realised this tall male figure infront of me.

"'Why are your ears red Wonwoo-yah?"' That's the name of the male staff apparently. He gave me this shy smile and quickly walked away.

AWKWARD.

There were people witnessing this scene and i just shyly greeted these 5 men , who DJ sam said was the guest for today's show too. Great.

Day6. Day6. Ah......

Our team perform at gigs and often saw their names on the notice and posters at the walls. So it's this known JYP's ...

We sat at the sofa outside the radio studio while waiting since we arrived half an hour early and Sam made me listen to the songs he produce. I was unfortunately sitting down in between the day6 members, with the laptop and fixing this dude's music. Great. great JOb.

I took down my notebook and guitar from my guitar case and jotted down a few notes. I gave Sam a few pointers like what I thought might had sound great and a guy named Jae seemed impress. Two of the day6 members are able to converse in English and we were able to connect with music almost immediately.

"'Wow...you're quite unique for a girl...Didn't you get scouted by other companies by chance?"' Jae asked only to be interrupted by Sam

"'She did. Inside her wallet there were like tons of agencies scouting her, her face, bodyline and talent. She''s good enough to beat the typical girl group concept. But somehow she, her uncle and two other male members formed a band called The Sound. They performed at gigs too, don't you guys ever clash or meet or smthg by accident?"' Sam explained.

"'Apparently not...."' I said, i gave the notebook and the guitar to Sam and walked off when he grabbed my wrist.

"'Where u going..."'

"'Hwajangshil."' 

"'and she's also one of the dance choreographers at a dance studio. Think she teaches 3 classes? Almost any guy that knows her would have this natural instinct to protect her and stuff. She seems cold and puts up a strong front at times...but she's good with everyone. Just one or few times she got used by people...."'

 

I walked to the sofa again and ...

"'What'd you say again....OPPPA JEOM please"' He took away my notebook and saw my scribbles and thoughts down.

"'Hey, what'd you say we go for some food after the show?"'

"'Okay."'

"'Day6 are joining too you know"'

"'Okay"'

I was totally lost in my emotions. The feeling of going up on live radio gave me the chills. It lasted and ended welll with laughters filling the air. I performed an acoustic version of my songs and same goes for DAY6 with their songs.  

"OMGOODNESS it's a relief the show ended well. Thanks sam!!"' I gave sam a huge hug and bowed to the DAY6 members and was about to take my coat and place the guitar in my guitar case when Sam grabbed me by my hand .

"'Where do you think you're going little lady? You ARE joining us for dinner after this..."'

"'I did? Hold on ..i'll kakao the other members to not keep them waiting."'

-HEY...guys sorry but you are free to join if work's done...I'm grabbing dinner with sam? ANyone?-

-Hey..i'm done with work? where is it at? I'll come...the rest are still in discussion with the sound producer..- GRAY

I texted him back the address and told Sam that Gray will be joining us...he seemed happy since he is meeting his best friend since high school. GREAT. All this man and i'm the only girl.

We headed to a private beef restaurant camping style where we book a large room for it. We headed in different vans and reached the venue only to see GRAY standing in front of the door covering himself up with thick clothes since it has been so cold. He gave me a hug the moment I arrived and scolded me for wearing such thin clothes in this ungodly weather. 

"'Mwo? What do you want me to do?"' Gray kept bothering me and Sam was just teasing me with the stories Gray shared while the DAY6 members laughed at the whole situation.

We decided on the menu and apparently one of the waiters knew me.

"'Haein noona? Taemin's pretty looking sister right? Wah , you really are a hotshot in real life////omona"' The waiter said while serving the utensils.

"Excuse me? Nugusaeyo? Yes , that's right I'm Taemin's noona...You must be his friend?"'

"'Aniyo. I'm his senior at college..Taemin's wallpaper and lockscreen is the photo of you and him.. WAHHH"' He said with a satoori.

"'Ah , I see. Pleasure to meet you. Please take care and look favourably upon my brother"'

"'I guess that waiter must have the feels for you. His ears are turning red..."' Gray said while nudging Sam.

I swear this two are the craziest combination. I just sat there in silence while the two men who have been talking nonstop went to the washroom. Wonpil and Sungjin both stole glances at me and when i met their eyes they all seem to be looking elsewhere. They started asking me questions like why did i decide to choose such a difficult path to be a musician..am i still studying and etc.

"I'm actually pursuing business studies and social sciences in Singapore but because i'm getting a semester off. It's all about music...and dancing. That's about it. I heard sunbaenimdeul are promoting your songs on music broadcast for the first time. How was it?"'

We headed off to a good start and talked until these two men came over and disturbed the whole peaceful scene. Gray whispered me some stuff and it seems we have to get going. Our managers exchanged cards and we exchanged numbers to maybe practice together in a studio. We made a kakao chatting room and we all made friends really quickly and decided to grab a day to practice and coffee.

Finally day6 members met all the members only to realise I was the only female. Mingyu and Wonwoo was superexcited since they have been fans of day6 since ever. To tell you the truth, all of us went to day6's fanmeet in singapore back when we were studying. It was super fun to see a gig and yeah ...it's much better in person. We all worked together in the studio , getting each of our babies and plugging so many wires. I realised that Dowoon keeps giving me looks but whenever we make eye contact he looks elsewhere. So far he has never talked or personally engage in any form of conversation,but Wonpil has been friendly and we have been talking alot and dowoon is just there but he hardly talks...only his ears go super red...

But over the days , me wonpill and dowoon managed to form another line which was the maknae line and we have been sticking it through and practice together privately without the other older members knowing. We even go out for movies and go to parks together. We just to be honest enjoy each other's company and it was awhile when i found out that our company was not doing well.

I literally broke down infront of the members and day6 during one of our gig rehearsal. We were given the choice whether to stick together as a band and move to an agency that was willing to take us in or disband. It's been a while since i was so helpless that nothing works and whatever it was i was having a hard time deciding what to do and nothing works. Wonpil and dowoon brought me to Hangang river to freshen my mood up and they were just so desperate like us. They wanted us to expand our music career but who would be willing to accept us. I was considering of just pursuing my studies if this really wasn't what it was suppose to be or meant to be.Wonpil and Dowoon both hold my hand and interlinked fingers, we prayed for answers...

Wonpil went to grab us some stuff leaving me and Dowoon, he looked at me with those warm eyes...as if he could read through me he opened his arms wide and beat his shoulders giving me the green light to lean in for a hug, i went in for those arms only to be kissed on the forehead. It shocked me for awhile, i was caught offguard and so was him. We both look at each other and smiled. He was able to lift all this thoughts even if it was for awhile. 

"'Kwenchana. We will think of something."' Those comforting words,even if it was just two sentences he was able to change my life.

On the other side, Wonpil sent a sample of our music to the JYPpdnim only to get a response of get this kids to his office. He can't wait to tell us the news.When he broke the lovely atmosphere, me and dowoon got back to our awkward selves. Wonpil made fun of us...

Me, Gray , Wonwoo and Mingyu went to JYP's office with the day6 members only to be told that we will be signing a contract soon after he has a look at all our song producing. I can't wait. Like who would have thought of this ever happening.
