They say your true love is not someone that comes into your life peacefully, It is who comes to make you question things, who changes your perspective for seeing the reality and is someone that marks a 'before' and an ‘after’ in your life. Because it's the life that has a time and not the love. You cannot confine love to life because if you haven't loved in your life, did you live your life at all?
Yoongi felt the same feelings stir when he met Jimin and the way Jimin would look back at him, Yoongi was sure he wasn’t the only one thinking the same things. Yoongi didn’t understand why Jimin felt so familiar to him- like remembering him in a way instead of getting to know him. Impossibly concluding that they might have known each other- in another time, in a different place- some other existence and they were sure they’ll find each other again in next life and the life after that.

"Yoongi told him then that he’d rather have Jimin dead as well if there was the world where he was left alone. Not because Yoongi was selfish, oh no. But because he loved him so badly that he didn’t want Jimin to live in a world where they didn’t even understand what their crime was and he wouldn’t be seen as an just because he loved differently from the rest, Yoongi didn’t want to leave Jimin in such a place with him not able watch Jimin and to protect him. And for the rest of his questions, Yoongi kissed him deep enough to leave Jimin with swollen lips and a hidden collarbone, full of red hickeys."
