And how I used to be
Rain has been unstoppably pouring the Seoul sky since evening. The sun actually has disappeared for three days in a row yet sometimes through the thickness of the clouds, its rays spread out shyly to the earth to give some hikers hopes.
Talking about hiking, half of the students in dormitory were going on a hike together in Jeju since last week. Some other students were going back home for the fortnight holidays. Few are staying in the dorm and most of them are foreign students. Junhoe and Chanwoo happen to be the local students that staying, with some other students like Yunhyeong and Hanbin who claimed to have nowhere to go.
“You’re never going back to your home.” Chanwoo sips the tea inside a smokey cup he now holds. He grimaced since it’s too hot for his mouth to handle. He puts down his cup before throwing his hand in front of Junhoe’s face. He waves slightly and giggles, “..you’re spacing out.”
Junhoe’s eyes blink in fast motion before he shakes his head “I’m not.”
“What did I say?” Chanwoo tested, to which Junhoe only scratched the back of his head.
“What did you say?” he easily responds before getting a slap from the younger.
Chanwoo sits on the edge of Junhoe’s bed, his eyes wander outside the window, admiring the grain that fell out perfectly against the glass. He’s been going through high school for two years now and the next year is going to be his final year to sit on the uniform. For those two years, Junhoe has always been the loyal
