A has-been prodigy, Do Kyungsoo, is forced into a pit when he starts losing inspiration for his upcoming novel. With the deadline approaching and the unpleasant emptiness he’s feeling, he starts drawing a line between him and the world outside. Right now, there are “Do Kyungsoo’s Personal Space”—as what he likes to call it—and “The Boring Ultra World”.

When he sees a peculiar girl sitting on the branch of his neighbour’s favourite tree, something inside him stirs, and he decides, “My author instinct says that she’s something else—let’s just hope that she’s not gonna kill me.”

The next thing he notices is that he’s up in the air, and the girl doesn’t look too pleased as she soars higher and lets the night sky swallow them both.
