RULES___01: Subscribe and stay subscribed. Anyone participating to unsubscribe will be eliminated from the contest without any warning. 02: Have respect. Do not seek fights or insult other people. 03: All footage (images and videos) must be of a decent quality. In portraits we expect you to fully show your face and please do not 'cut off' your head on the sides, please. Thanks. 04: You have one week per round to submit your entry. Anyone to break this rule will be automatically eliminated from this contest. No further discussions will be held. 05: Only submit footage of yourself and no one else. If we find out that you're using a fake identity we will also eliminate you instantly. 06: Follow the rules and the guidelines for a good score. 07: All participants must be female and must be 14 years or older. Have lots of fun and good luck to everyone participating!

Hint: I am SUPER impatient with people who ask me questions that are seriously written down here on this front page or in the instruction chapters and blog posts. Please do not make me repeat myself and just read.

IMPORTANT___All portraits must be at least 500x650 pixels in size. No square sizes or  cropping. No black & white edits either, please. All portraits must be taken vertically (standing up). Thank you kindly in advance.

This contest won't start until we find enough people. Perhaps there won't be 100 people, which is okay. Once the contest starts make sure you're available for 5 weeks. If not: Please drop a comment and cancel asap.

You're probably all going to wonder how the voting works, right? Since this is MY contest, I'll be the judge of placing the contestants in their rightful rankings. I keep the idea of using open polls as a possibility.

ROUNDS___01: "White Angels" This is basically just a sign up round and no one will be eliminated yet. For this round you have to photograph yourself twice. One close up and one shot in which the upper body can be seen as well, so it's a bit more zoomed out. There must a clear difference between them! The main rule for this round is that your background is all white and your outfit should be gray. These portraits will be your main images in the participants index at the first chapter, so please pick yours wisely! Good luck, everyone.

02: "Before & After" The second round will include two portraits of yourself, made around the same time of the day. One before the make-up and one after applying your make-up. The bottom line is that true ulzzangs will also shine and feel confident enough without their make-up. In case you're truly uncomfortable about using no make-up: Minimal make-up is okay too. 31 contestants will be eliminated in this round.

03: "The D3 Queen" What is a third around without 3D visuals, right? For this round you're expected to make a video recording of yourself that will last min. 15 to max. 25 seconds. You could play your favorite music in the background while trying some aegyo. You could also take this opportunity and talk to your fans and let your personality shine through to gain more fans/votes. Do not go off topic in your video when talking. You may not promote anything else other than this contest itself. 20 contestants will be eliminated this round.

04: "Stereotypes" In the fourth round everyone will be put into categories: Cute, feminine, unique, cool and natural. That's 10 contestants per category. Based on what you already look like, we will try to find a challenging category for you to participate in. You create one portrait of yourself that represents that category, so your make-up and styling skills are tested this round. 20 contestants will be eliminated this round.

05: "Entertain Me" For this round everyone will be again put into small groups, counting around 6 contestants per group. Your group will be assigned a certain k-pop look, either from a teaser image or a music video. Make one portrait of yourself in the style of this certain look. Be creative. As long as we see some resemblance in the end. The winning team will receive extra points. 20 contestants will be eliminated this round.

06: "The Top 10" This is the final and last round. Who will be the ultimate winner of Ulzzang 101 season one? In this sixth round there are multiple tasks you have to fulfill. 1: Find a selca of an ulzzang or k-pop idol that inspires you and copy their pose/expression. Possibly styling and make-up too, but this is optional. 2: You will be interviewed by the host Choomi and you'll have to answer a small and quick Q&A. 3: A freestyle portrait in which you show YOUR BEST. Once this round is finished the final and full ranking list will be revealed.
