Thirteen:
On Immortality:There was more people in the streets than usual.
I paid no attention.
Getting involved would make it worse for me.
But then there was so much noise all of a sudden.
I put down my books and stepped outside.
There were so many bystanders.
So many students.
They were mostly boys, in their school uniforms.
I recognized some of them.
They went to Seoul University.
But more students must have joined them.
Highschoolers and university students ran together.
They held homemade signs.
Most of them hurled insults at the president.
They all called for his resignation.
They were marching towards the Blue House.
Nothing would happen to them, right?
They were children.
Most of the boys in uniforms had a cheerful air about them.
They were probably happy.
They didn't have to go to school.
I made my way to the front of the crowd.
Despite half not wanting to be there, it was very exciting.
But then I was swept into the mass.
I tried to find my way out.
"Run or get trampled."
The Blue House: Where the South Korean president resides during their term. Korean equivalent to America's White House.
