It was finally their summer vacation-the most beautiful part of their high school life. Taeyeon always wait for this time to come. No one knows but she always wanted the summer to come. Not because of summer vacation but it’s also because it’s the time where she finds peace and refreshing. Taeyeon was in-search for a place that can give her a peace of mind and that’ll bring completeness with her. She would always went to Jeju and spend the rest of her vacation there. She has an aunt and cousin who have house there.

“Annyeong!” Taeyeon greeted them cheerfully

“Oh! Yeonie! I’m glad to see you again here!” Sunyeon welcome her warmly as she meets Taeyeon at the gate.

Sunyeon is Taeyeon’s cousin. She’s very close to Taeyeon and Sooyoung. Sooyoung’s hometown is at Jeju. Sunyeon help her carry her bags and put it in her room. Taeyeon have her own room at Sunyeon’s house. At her room they both sat at the bed.

“So, how’s your high school life there?” Sunyeon asked Taeyeon who suddenly lie on her bed.

“You know, I hate high school! It ! MATH !” Taeyeon protested as Sunyeon lies on her bed too.

“Ya! Don’t say that or else I’ll tell it to Sooyoung!” Sunyeon demanded

“Ne! Actually, if it hasn’t for Sooyoung, my entire high school life form freshman up to now must be really boring!” Taeyeon agreed as she remembers all the things she and Sooyoung would always do, “I remember us making pranks on our classmates and teachers!”

“So, Is Sooyoung coming here?” Sunyeon asked Taeyeon who was at the midst of her reminiscing.

“Yeah, right! I should have called her! Omo! Im screwed!” Taeyeon immediately stand up to get her phone. Suddenly, Sunyeon’s mom called Taeyeon out.

“Taeyeon!!! There’s someone looking for you!” Sunyeon’s mom called.

Both Taeyeon and Sunyeon went downstairs and look who it is. They were both shocked as they saw who it was. It was Sooyoung. Sunyeon run to her and hugged her tight.

“Sooyoung!!! I missed you so much! It’s been a long time!” Sunyeon said still hugging Sooyoung.

“Noh! I can’t breathe!” Sooyoung demanded.

“Oh! Mianhae!” Sunyeon apologized as she let go of Sooyoung from her tight hug.

“Sooyoung?! How did you get here?” Taeyeon asks as she went near to Sooyoung.

“Ya! You should call me! Luckily, oppa was with me and he knows this place very well and he helps me get in here!” Sooyoung protested at Taeyeon’s face whose very shock to hear what Sooyoung said.

“Ya! You’re oppa?” Taeyeon asked shockingly.

“Ne! Oppa was here at Jeju, don’t you know?” Sooyoung said with her eyebrows up.

“Aniyo! You have oppa? Why do I not know that?” Taeyeon asked demandingly throwing question at Sooyoung

“Molla? How come you don’t when I myself know it! Sooyoung always tells stories about her oppa!” Sunyeon said wondering why Taeyeon didn’t know.

“Ya! Ajumma! You’re growing old and older! You’re starting to forget important things now!” Sooyoung exclaimed

“Really? Mianhae!” Taeyeon apologized still wondering

“Anyways, let’s go! I want to take you at a very important place here! Im pretty sure you haven’t been there! Let’s go!” Sooyoung said taking Taeyeon’s hand.

“Wait! Bye Sunyeon! See you at dinner!” Taeyeon said waving goodbye to Sunyeon.

Finally after a long run, they reached the place. It was a high place with dead end and down there was the beach with a very beautiful view. Up there, Taeyeon was very amazed to see the place. It was the place Taeyeon finds and now she has found it. The perfect place to stay at. It was very peaceful. Though the sun is very hot but the wind is very cold and refreshing.

“How did you find this place? I’ve never been here!” Taeyeon said looking at the whole place.

“I know! You weren’t really being able to be here because this place is really very secretive! It was my oppa who found this place. He would always come here whenever he’s troubled or bothered” Sooyoung said looking at Taeyeon who is still at Awe.

“Wow! Amazing!” Taeyeon couldn’t help herself but be amazed on what she had seen. For her, this is the most beautiful place she has ever been.

“You know, we could watch the sunset from here!” Sooyoung said sitting at the ground.

“I would love to watch the sunset from up here!” Taeyeon said sitting beside Sooyoung.

Together, they watch the sunset. Taeyeon was really happy to finally find the place she’s been looking for, for her entire life. When the sun finally sets they both decided to go home. Taeyeon head to her room and lie in her bed. She would never forget what she just watches that moment. But she feels not contented. She suddenly notices the sadness the felt while watching the sunset. She thought, “It’s just doesn’t seem right! What is it that makes me feel incomplete? Oh! Is it? Is that what I need to make myself contented and complete?” She knew that time that what she’s missing is Love. It would be perfect if she could watch the sunset with her prince charming. But she knew that would take a long time. She never had a boyfriend since she was ever made and nobody even dares to ask her out. This thing really saddens her. The next morning, she is walking at the beautiful flower garden while reading a book about love. Yeah! Taeyeon was a hopeless romantic. She has done every method possible to have a boyfriend but time won’t just let her have it.

“This love really makes me worry so much!” Taeyeon said to herself

Suddenly a guy from nowhere came to her that make her scared out and jump off from the ground.

“Ah!!!” Taeyeon shouted as she jumps because of frightened

“Oh! Im sorry! I didn’t mean to scare you out! I was just wondering why a beautiful girl was here alone so I went near.” The guy reasoned out.

“It’s ok! I was just spending time here, catching some fresh air, feeling the summer wind and…Oh! Reading books!” Taeyeon said showing the book she’s been reading.

“Love in Summertime?!” the guy said reading the title of the book. Taeyeon suddenly got conscious and hide the book.

“Yeah! It’s about…”Taeyeon said when suddenly the guy speaks

“It’s about finding love in summer. What’s so good about summer anyway? It brings nothing but hot feeling at us. How can we find love in summer?” The guy said

“So, you’ve read it too?! Love can be found in anytime, in any season, but true love never appears in any season, it can be only found in summertime! A time for true love!” Taeyeon said saying another line from the book, “it’s my first time to see you here! Are you a tourist?”

“Nope! I’ve been here for so long but I rarely come out and show myself to others. Im mostly at my favorite place!” the guy said

Suddenly, the wind blew. The sun was very blistering yet the air was so cold. It gives both of them strange feeling. At that time, Taeyeon didn’t want to leave but she has to. She couldn’t leave him now that she has found the missing part of her in-searching peace and love in Jeju.

“I’m so sorry! I have leaved now! My aunt must be looking out for me! I promised her that I won’t take long. Goodbye!” Taeyeon said leaving him standing there, “Will I see you here again tomorrow morning?”

“Not unless you come here, I might come back again!” The guy said making Taeyeon smile widely

“Goodbye! See you tomorrow!” Taeyeon said leaving him

“Wait!” The guy shouts but Taeyeon was already far, “What’s your name?”

Taeyeon went back to their house happily. Sunyeon didn’t know what was going on with Taeyeon but she knew that Taeyeon was finally able to find what she seeks for and is much better than that.

Another day has passed again. Taeyeon wake up early in the morning. She was so much excited on meeting that guy again. She didn’t know but there is something with that guy that she feels so comfortable with him. Taeyeon was able to come there in time or maybe even earlier. She wasn’t able to saw the guy there but she decided to wait. She sat at the big tree beside the beautiful flowers and took out her book and started to read it again. She has read that book so many times. She could actually memorize all the contents inside. Few minutes more but the guy hasn’t showed up yet. Taeyeon decided to just go home but when she turned around she saw him. She was surprised to see him standing there.

“Were you already there a while ago?” Taeyeon asked shockingly to see him there.

“I’ve been standing here for an hour. I decided not to disturb you because I know that you need peace in reading your book!”

“Really? You should have said that you were already there.”

They both sat beside the tree.

“The view here is really beautiful. I can see all the beautiful flowers around us and the peaceful sea!” the guy said looking at the sea, “I have a friend named after east Sea (Donghae). I’m wondering where he is right now!”

“You wonder as if he was your husband!”

“Really?” The guy laughs, “My little sister told me the same thing whenever I remember him. She would always feel jealous about him!”

“Well maybe because you worry about him like it’s something else~”

“He’s my best friend. We have each other since we are kids. I’m kind of having a bad time whenever they meet, they would always fight and I’ll turn out to be the mediator!”

“Really? Why? Is there a reason for your little sister to feel jealous?”

“That’s actually the problem! There is no reason yet they fight! I’m starting to think that they like each other!”

“You shouldn’t jump into your conclusions like that!”

“Well, what I am saying is true! Whenever they are left alone together they would act strangely, some like sweet couple. Actually, they are kind of cute to watch whenever they fight!”

“Then, they are maybe in love with each other!”

“But I’m afraid! I want them to be both happy but I don’t know if it’ll work out for both of them!”

“Hmmnn… Love is complicated! But I’m pretty sure; they’ll make their relationship more exciting and meaningful!”

“How about you? Do you have someone you loved?”

“Me? My parents are at New York, my cousin is at our house and so is my aunt. Well, my best friend is at their house here in Jeju, so I don’t have my someone loved with me!”

“I mean, boyfriend perhaps!”

“None! I was born to be single at my young age and was searching my lost love!”

“Oh! Well, Hail all Singles!” the guys shouts. Both of them laugh.          

“How about you?”

“I’m with my most special person right now!” The guy said while looking at Taeyeon. Taeyeon didn’t know what to do and so she decided to stand up.

“It’s getting late! I should go back!” Taeyeon said leaving him, “goodbye! See you tomorrow!”

Taeyeon went to home happily again. This time, she jumps at her bed as if she wins a lotto jackpot! She was so happy. She never realizes that at the short time, she’ll find herself in love and find that the guy she loves was also in love with her. Today is the happiest day in her life. She wrote it on her diary quickly and is so happy while writing it. She doesn’t know where to put her over-joy.

On the next day, Taeyeon went back there. She wasn’t able to see him there but then she decided to wait. It was already 3 hours passed and yet no symbol of him, not even his shadow showed up. Taeyeon suddenly turned out sad. The rain pours down and grew heavy. The sun shines brightly and was very hot yet it’s raining. Taeyeon decided to go home. Several days have gone by and yet, she wasn’t able to see him there. She always goes there every day. She thought to herself, “I was such a fool to believe in love. And what made me even a big fool is that I believe that true love appears in summer. I was a big fool!” She was crying in her room. It’s like the clouds sympathies with Taeyeon.
