"Sorry Kibum, I think it got away..." I mumbled sheepishly as I shone the torch under the sofa, pressing my cheeks firmly against the concrete as my eyes roamed about underneath the couch. I squinted harder to get a clearer view in that darkness as I searched for the tiny creature which had sent Key screaming like some mad hatter previously.
 
"YAH YOU IDIOT! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS, LET IT GET AWAY?!" he whined angrily, stomping his feet like a spoilt brat on the sofa he had scrambled up onto just moments ago upon seeing the creature.

 
"C'mon Key, it's just a teeny weensy little lizard, let if off, will ya? It's completely harmless."
 
"HELL NO. IT'S NOT HARMLESS. IT'S SLIMY, COLD AND SQUISHY. AND IT'S COMPLETELY, DISGUSTINGLY, DANGEROUS! IF YOU DONT KILL IT, IT WILL REMAIN LINGERING SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE HOUSE, WHICH IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED!" He screeched as he folded his arms in indignation.
 
"But it's just a lizard. You're more than a thousand times its size!" I reasoned as I got up the floor steadily. "And I'm sure your scream is enough to drive it to death..." I mumbled bitterly under my breath.
 
"SO WHAT IF IT'S SMALL?! IT'S A DEVIL I TELL YOU! AND IF I TOUCH IT, I'LL DIE." Then his voice softened into a low hiss as he stared at me with eyes like daggers. "Do you want me dead, Jonghyun?"
 
"No..." I huffed in defeat, playing with the hem of my shirt absentmindedly like an innocent child facing the wrath of an angry parent. “Of course not…”
 
A smirk formed against his lips as he heard the words he had been expecting to hear escaped my mouth. Then, he bent forward gracefully, battering his beautiful long lashes at me. "So... Mr Kim Jonghyun...."
 
"Y-yes baby?" I smiled nervously, completely entralled by his seductive gaze he shot at me.
 
"GET YOUR MOVING AND CONTINUE HUNTING FOR THAT IDIOTIC LIZARD!" he hollered as he poked my forehead fervently with his index. "I'M NOT SHARING MY HOUSE WITH IT!"
 
"W-what?" Completely taken back by his sudden outburst, I reeled back a few steps. However, just as I saw Key's venomous mouth opening once again, I cut him short immediately. "Alright, alright... I'll go find it..." Turning away from the diva, I took in a deep breath, preparing myself for the grueling hunt. However, before I knew it...
 
"ARGHHHH JONGHYUN!!!!" I almost choked on my saliva when I felt a sudden weight landed on my back. To make matter worse, a pair of slender arms wrapped themselves tightly around my neck, cutting my supply of oxygen. "IT'S ON THE FREAKIN’ SOFA!!" The boy cried  as he grabbed onto me frantically, his voice filled with sheer fear and distress.
 

 Signing wearily as I steadied myself, I shook the boy off as he scrambled up the nearest coffee table, an endless string of hysterical screams rolling off his tongue seamlessly as he escaped. After finally regaining my composure, I rolled up the sleeves of my shirt, preparing for the battle.

Here we go again...

 A/N: Hi! This is my first attempt at writing comedy. I usually prefer writing angsty stories, so this is quite a breakthrough for me! Please do support by subscribing and commenting!
