I am running and running but the hallway seems to get longer and longer, he thought.
While running, the young adult looked out of the broken windows, that lined the left side of the corridor, into the starry night. The full moon shone and illuminated the usually pitch black hallway. Without a pause he ran forward albeit he felt like he was about to throw up because of the rotten stench that polluted the air in the abandoned hospital.
Just where is the exit?! He was exasperated.
His pace got slower because his legs began to feel as heavy as lead. He couldn't continue anymore.
*tap* *tap*
A noise. The boy heard something. “What was that?” he mumbled to himself. “Maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me. I should really get out of this hell.” He went on.

No, the petite boy didn’t imagine that. That’s for sure. Where does it come from?
He walked prudently, all the while looking over his shoulder but besides him, there was nobody.

Again! Fear was written all over his face. He almost lost his sanity. He started to run again, faster this time.

The sound was getting louder and the teenager realized that those noises were steps and belonged to a human being. Just like him.
Wait. Maybe the other's are still in here? No... I heard one pair of feet not two. Who is it? Weren't we supposed to be the only ones in here?
He had to get out of here. Quickly. At a junction he stopped. Did I cut them off?
