This story was inspired by a song by That Poppy. It’s called Lowlife. But I really really REALLY love the acoustic version. I put the song in repeat and wrote this. To be honest, I played it over sixty times. No joke. The part that's not italicized in the description is the first line of the chorus, and I really recommend listening to this song~
