The Fallen Star (Markjin)
Destiny LoveJinyoung walked along the beachside while his parents and Mark’s parents decided about their engagement. Mark had taken his leave since the older had some business to settle around Busan. Jinhae had always been the peaceful place for Jinyoung to think about whatever would happen next to his love life. He still remembered what he saw the day when he intended to have a little interaction with Jackson’s mother.
Few days ago
Jinyoung had yet to be able to go to school, so he decided to visit Jackson’s mother since Mark’s mother left to go for shopping for groceries. Bambam and Jackson had left to go school and Mark left for work early that morning.
“Mummy…!!!” Jinyoung called from outside the house, still holding onto his crutches.
“Oh…sweety Tuan’s son-in-law. Come in. Are you alone at home?” Mummy Wang asked.
“Yes. I was bored so I decided to disturb you,” Jinyoung giggled while Mummy Wang helped him to come inside her house.
“You can look around. Make it like your own house, and I will prepare some cookies,” Mummy Wang left and Jinyoung decided to look at his lover's room.
“Mummy, can I go to Jackson's room?”
Mummy Wang stopped in her tracks and looked at Jinyoung with a frown. “Oh… I’m not sure to give that permission to you, as of now Jackson and Bambam stay together in one room.”
Jinyoung puffed his cheeks and tried to hide his sadness.
“It’s okay, Mummy. I understand it being the privacy of your beloved son and son-in-law.” Jinyoung replied weakly.
“Aigoo, don’t be sad. You can look around this room," Mummy Wang pointed towards the room under the stairs. "This is their past anyway so I believe it doesn’t matter if you look at it. I guess when you dated Jackson, he did told you that he and Bambam previously dated as well.”
Jinyoung did not expect that he would get so many shocking facts today. His heart hurt but he tried to calm himself by believing that nothing happened between Jackson and Bambam anymore. Jackson only loved him and that was the truth.
Jinyoung slowly went inside the room and saw that Jackson had tidied up everything inside the room. Jackson put the date for each of the gift he had recieved from Bambam, and Jinyoung counted with his hand how many years the two had dated. It shocked him to realize that it had been for more than five years. He wondered why the two broke up and why Jackson accepted his confession.
“His diary…” Jinyoung took the diaries and slowly read every page.
‘Jackson loved Bambam more than he loves me.’ Jinyoung concluded when he read the last pages, in which it was cleared why Jackson accepted his confession - it was because Bambam said he liked Mark, and Jackson wanted revenge.
Jinyoung's tears fell.
“I need to stay strong. I know he love me. This is all in the past.” Jinyoung convinced his heart.
Jinyoung acted like nothing happened later, even when he accidentally stumbled upon Jackson and Bambam kissing while playing basketball together. He was hiding but his heart was crying so hard. Mark was not there when he needed him the most and he decided to keep everything inside.
The waves were strong and Jinyoung wondered if he could be like the beach that was able to handle the strong waves coming into his love life. Mark was nice and he did not want to tell him anything about what he knew. Mark needed to find out himself, since he knew how sincere Mark was when he acc
