Sooil froze a bit when he’s searching for a seat and saw the all too familiar backview, even after years. He hestitants a bit but finally greeted him

The said man turned his head and his eyes grew bigger “....So---sooil?”

Sooil smiled a bit “may i..... sit here?”

“uhm, sure” Minsoo then moved his mug on the table a bit to the side so there’s a room for Sooil to put his cheesecake and ice americano (what a weird combination, such typical No Sooil. he thinks)

It goes silent then as Minsoo continues his book while Sooil enjoying his cheesecake.

After a fine mins of sweetness and page-flipping, Minsoo finally closed his book and clears his throat “so how have you been?”

“it should be me asking you that. You suddenly dissapeared after that thing hap--”

“i'm sorry” he cutted

“hey, it’s ok. what’s in the past stays in the past. Besides, we were teenagers back then, so, no hard feelings” Sooil chuckled “and i’m doing fine. well, nothing special, i just work at some tourism agency”

“Not as lucky as you” he said while looking at the silver ring on minsoo’s finger

Minsoo laughs and shook his head “whatever you say”

“so, meet you here again tomorrow?” Sooil asked while holding the cafe door for Minsoo

“sure. I’ll be at the same table, 2pm”

“ok! Now give me your number”

“but i didn’t change it?”

“eh? Then why you never replied my texts and calls??”

Minsoo laughs again, that laughs that Sooil always longed for when he can’t see him “i just good at hiding”

“tsk i knew it!” “be sure to bring Mina tomorrow. I’ll start my mission”

They then smiled at each other and bid goodbye, and when Sooil turns his body Minsoo suddenly says

Sooil laughs and start walking “see you tomorrow, Go Kogyeol”
