As far as unconventional fairy tales go, this one hit much closer to home than he'd realized. Maybe it was because of the sweltering heat of the summer, or perhaps it had something to do with the storybook lying at his feet. Either way, there was a boy with wings standing in his dusty old attic, claiming to have come from a faraway land, once upon a time. And so, he followed this boy into the worn pages of a tale lost to a mere childhood memory.
