Never Too Much Sweets

Description

At first, Jiao thought that she'd have a major issue with having to learn the Korean language when she moved with her jiejie (Sorry, she meant unnie, same difference). It turns out, that wasn't the major issue (her unnie helped her out and she studied lots), both Jiao and her unnie agreed, they just really missed the homecooked Chinese food of their muqin (Sorry, she meant eomma). Well, Jiao liked sweets and pastries alike, so at least her job at the popular bakery (called Sweet That, simple but accurate) fulfilled that craving for her.

Mina was a big eater, and she was quite proud of it. Of her friends, she was the biggest shikshin between all of them, and she had blessed genes that still kept her skinny. Her best friend Hyejeong especially hated that trait of hers, stupid shikshins and their stupid godlike metabolisms. Anyway, Mina was alright with sweets, but didn't have as much of a sweet tooth as compared to say... Chanmi and Seolhyun. At least until she visited that popular bakery known for its' famous desserts and heard the cashier speak (with a hint of her Chinese accent, that was just too adorable).

"Hi, welcome to Sweet That. Would you like to try our special today?"

"Will you marry me?"

"Excuse me?!"
