Wanna know a secret? There are spies amongst us.
Y'know, the CIA, MI6, NIS, etc.
But that's not really a secret. Everyone knows about WOOHP after all.
You know, the World Organization of Human Protection. That WOOHP.
The organization of international super, superpower-less, superheroes— duh.
But what's the secret you may ask?
The secret is that within such a large agency, responsible for overseeing all activities of all of the secret intelligence agencies around the world, there's a faction slowly growing deep within one of the smaller agencies— in South Korea of all places— that no one seems to be aware of... yet; a faction that may become the new standard of recruiting, training and practicing espionage all over the world.
It's SICK. No literally it's called SICK: System Introducing Children [to] Kicking [].

While SICK has been in effect since the mid 90's it's only been recently that the program has been deemed a success by the main agency, the NIS (National Intelligence Service), that a new generation has been proposed to be commenced as the new year approaches to relieve the previous second generation of its duties, allow them to graduate- thus becoming official NIS agents- and bring fresh faces and minds to fight against evils within Korea and worldwide in association with WOOHP.
Although the first rule of fight club is not to talk about fight club, the first rule about SICK details all members to be proud of who they are and will potentially be in terms of being secret agents of their country.
Because in a domain where everything is a secret— identities, missions, even the secrets themselves— its sort of inevitable that word would get out one way or another; by accident, force, or even on purpose.

Unlike ID: Peace B and Dark Angel, Mr. JYP was an agent that hardly worked on the field, preferring to stay behind the scenes and watch from a distance in the comfort and safety of his office within NIS headquarters. Years later he's now become the head of weapons and security and everyone's favorite uncle to visit and talk to when they had time to breathe after long hours of training. He's sort of goofy in the sense that he could never really be taken seriously as a secret agent of NIS, with over enthusiasm in his attempts of showing stealth and style, but ask him any questions of nuclear weapons of mass destruction and one will quickly understand how valuable he is to the organization.
Fun fact: If you whisper his name there's a high chance he'll appear from behind you out of nowhere, awaiting to be of assistance to you, no matter what time, day or place you do it.

Holding the title of being the youngest agent of the first generation of SICK and NIS overall,
ID: Peace B (alternatively called Venus for short) is what most agents of NIS consider to be the standard of what a spy should be like. Now retired and spending her days working beside Mr. JYP and Dark Angel in training the newest generation of SICK agents, she bears gifts of kind words of advice and reassuring warm hugs to those that struggle through the trials and tribulations of becoming an official NIS agent. papa yg
As the active head director of NIS, Papa YG is one of the last people you want to get in trouble with in the agency (next to Dark Angel, of course, but that's a different story). He's a little standoff-ish and almost too brutally honest but he means well when he organizes his troops to specific missions. He's often seen only interacting with the heads of NIS more than the field agents himself but he still knows more about them than what others believe to be. Though he doesn't directly work with SICK he does follow the progress of the group from a far and wishes the best for the young group of agents and their endeavors.
Fun fact: He's terrible at keeping promises and often is yelled at by ID: Peace B and Mr. JYP for forgetting to maintain such deals. Rumor has it he still owes Mr. JYP a couple million of won for not going through with an invention that involved making clothes transparent. But if you as Papa YG, he'll only tell you that he purposely forgot to not go through with such plans.

dark angel
A founding father of SICK and self proclaimed mother of the program (being one of the remaining original agents working with NIS), she means business when she states that everyone in the program must meet her expectations and boy her expectations are pretty high— almost being higher than her stiletto heels. While she isn't ruthless like Papa YG nor as soft and delicate as ID: Peace B, Dark Angel brands herself to be a perfect mixture of both, making sure every cadet and agent within SICK knows their rightful place but never forgetting to smile at the end of every sentence, no matter if her words were laced with poison or sugar. Over time SICK agents eventually come to love Dark Angel for her twisted form of affection and sometimes prefer to be in her presence than ID: Peace B.
Fun fact: While she loved being a SICK agent and then a spy for the NIS, she's always wanted to be a mother, hence why she sometimes gifts students that she cares the most with knitted hats and warm hugs when no one is looking.

hitman bang
Previously affiliated with the Korean underground mafia, Hitman Bang has now reformed and aligned himself with the NIS in hopes of seeking out a pardon for his past actions as a criminal. Primarily used as a reference to understanding criminals and their actions and the underground world in general, he is also very knowledgable of weapons and strategy, thus often seen working beside Mr. JYP and Papa YG (when the latter isn't judging the ex-mafia in general). While he may come off to have an aura of a villian, Hitman Bang is actually a gentle soul and sort of cute with his nasal like voice and awkward smile to the group of agents that come across him.
Fun fact: He's pretty much the coolest of the four heads of NIS (maybe second best to Dark Angel, but it varies in perspective) as he is the one that understands today's culture and respects it by not trying too hard to assimilate into it, rather easing his way slowly and blending in seemlessly into the background.

The first rule of SICK is to be proud of being SICK. The second rule of SICK is not to get sick of being a SICK. The third rule of SICK is to be a SICK until the day you die. The fourth and final rule of SICK is to never tell anyone that you are apart of SICK.
Non-complience of any of these rules or guidelines (below) will result in termination of association with the NIS, the SICK program, and (potentially) one's death.
Those chosen to participate in the SICK program will be contracted with the NIS to stay with the initiative until the NIS deems the generation worthy of graduation.
After graduation participants of the SICK program will be considered official agents of the NIS and have the option to continue working with the agency on their own terms.
