it was a casual late morning on the sundays....jaebum and seulgi was just doing the usual hanging out laying around in jaebum's room the two childhood friends just doing their own buisness casually both reading their favoutite books until seulgi stole a glance at jaebum

"i wonder if a kiss will be able to change out status quo in this relationship" seulgi thought quietly until jaebum caught her staring and turn to her direction as seulgi put her eyes back on her book at the speed of light but then suddenly 

"seulgi" jaebum called as he approached closer to her causing seulgi to panic

"omg did i say that out loud?!!!" jaebum was getting closer and closer and closer meanwhile seulgi's face was getting redder and redder and redder only god knows how hard is seulgi's heart beating right at this moment as there was only 30 cm left between jaebum's face and her's but just then JUST THEN!!!

"there's something stuck on your hair" jaebum said brushing off the paper like object struck on seulgi's hair with the most expressionless face ever killing all expectations seulgi had...................................... as jaebum then turns back to his original pose place and length as he turn the next page of his own book that he was reading seulgi was once again left staring jaebum's back

"i wonder when i first began having this unwanted awareness " thought seulgi to herself once again as she lets out a slight sigh

 

*it was already night and jaebum was walking back seulgi to her house as usual walking by the sidewalks which are just right beside the ocean

"hey  jaebum" seulgi called walking just two steps behind from jaebum

"i said im fine walking back home alone"

"you got it all wrong im just heading to the convinence store" replied jaebum cooly walking straight ahead with his hands in his pockets

"as always he wears that nonchalant expression of his.... he's putting up excuses yet again today just to walk me home it has become a habbit of his and as always we dont talk much" thought seulgi shifting her eyes from jaebum to her legs as both seulgi and jaebum walked each step of the way silently leaving only the sounds of the ocean waves companying them....but just then seulgi suddenly had a flash back when they were little kids when they went to the shrine.... jaebum was silently waiting for the late seulgi outside the shrine gate

*flashback

"sorry!!!" lil seulgi screamed running to finally arrived 

"so slow" jaebum simply replied

"here" seulgi handed an amulet to jaebum

"its for your mom" she explained as jaebum was speechless for a few seconds before he finally said his "thank you" just blankly staring at the breathless seulgi

jaebum and seulgi are both from a happy family sadly for jaebum her mother was ill and little seulgi thought that the good luck charm that she bought with all her pocket money would make jaebum's mother all well again.......however not long after that jaebum's mother passed away...and seulgi then remembered when they were at the funeral the young seulgi was drowning with tears in the arms of her own parents but there were neither tears nor sorrow found on jaebum's face....

*end of flashbacks

"i was sure he would cry that day " thought seulgi who suddenly stopped walking and just deeply stare to the man who was walking ahead of her but then

"so slow!" yelled jaebum as soon as he realized seulgi was so further away from him as seulgi said nothing and just ran towards jaebum.

"i  hate that we're just friends" thought seulgi once again

meanwhile on the other side of the side walk

"hey jackson look its jaebum and seulgi" jackson who was just cassually drinking his soda walking home with one of his friend turns to look

"they sure do look close" said jackson's friend 

"yup they sure does" jackson replied

"oh well lets get going" jackson's friend said walking ahead of him

"yeah..." jackson replied again giving jaebum and seulgi a weird last look before he finally catcthes up to his friend

 

*a few days passed jaebum called seulgi last night to bring the latest magazines edition to his apartment seulgi agress without argument

the next day

seulgi was now at jaebum's apartment she already pressed the doorbell but no one was answering it.

"huh is he not around?" wondered seulgi raising one of her brows

"i even brought the latest issues .........oh well ill just head home then" seulgi quietly thought as she just about to go with the new edition magazines she brought it her hands but just then sounds of a door being open could be heard .....seulgi then turn to see only to find a topless jaebum at the door with a towel over his head 

"oh hey i just came back from school activities.... i was just taking a shower" said the half jaebum while just casually drying his hair off 

"um.... so i g...guess ill see ya later..." said the flustered red faced seulgi trying to bail as quickly as possible 

"why does it have to be this guy hearttt??!!!!" seulgi aggresively questioned her heart in her mind

"eh? you dont want to come in?" jaebum confusedly asked................

minutes later 

in jaebum's room the sound of video games could be heard .....

seulgi was playing games on jaebum's laptop meanwhile jaebum was busy reading the books seulgi brought on his bed...fully dressed the awkwardness that seulgi was feeling was obviously shown on her face 

"what did i even thought was gonna happen" seulgi dissed herself in her head ..making the smallest movement hitting her own head in silence just then...

"oh thats right..." jaebum suddenly voiced and turn to seulgi

"you're gonna watch our team against sm high school right?"

"ah yup..." seulgi replied nodding her head 

"are you nervous jaebum ah? i wonder if the game would get all rough and people would go player kill all rough mode again in this time around.." asked seulgi rapidly as just then she suddenly earned herself a pinch! jaebum pinched seulgi on the cheeks! right at that moment seulgi's heart was beating so fast any second longer her heart would've actualy burst out but thankfully jaebum's phone suddenly rang . jaebum then went to answer his phone . leaving the red seulgi saved who immediately made her self stand up from her sitting position to cool off her face.... 

"hello?" jaebum spoke

"OI..jaebum, where are you at now?" spoke one of jaebum's friend through the phone loudly 

"didn't they say they're gonna go bowling after practice?" jaebum took a sit on his bed "oh is that so?" he replied

"are you busy? what are you doing? could it be you've got a date with your girlfriend puhahaha?" laughed jaebum's friend through the phone hysterically 

"she's not my girlfriend" said jaebum

"ha?" as his friend stopped laughing

seulgi wish she didn't heard it but she clearly did even coming straight from jaebum's mouth ..... jaebum was definitely absolutely not in the wrong saying what he just said it is true after all since when was she the girlfriend?.......jaebum had every right .....but somehow ....just somehow seulgi feels so sad...she herself can't even explain or know whats going on but the only thing she knows that she's sad..and close to heartbroken...

"so jaebum had plans going out" thought seulgi as she then suddenly unconsciously started walking her way towards the exit....she was just going to walk away from jaebum without saying a single word... but just then! seulgi stopped moving as she found her hands was suddenly grabbed by jaebum who was still on the phone.... seulgi then turn around confusedly to face jaebum only to found her eyes meeting his.....

"what should i do......... what can i do...... so that we can become more than just friends" seulgi ask herself...slowly approaching jaebum who was holding on to her hands as her heart beats in rhymes getting stronger with each of her step 

"hello jaebum sunbae? are you still there? this is yugyeom everyone's waiting for you" spoke one of jaebum's associates 

" oh yugyeom ah...im really sorry" 

"ahh why sunbaee everyone is already here" 

"im really sorry i ca....." before jaebum could ever finish
