Eunhyuk starred at the man in front of him, the tall, raven haired man with his trained body, the man that used to be his boyfriend for 5 years, the man that broke his heart and left it shuddered into pieces - he man that was named Choi Siwon.

     Immediately the blonde Korean opened his mouth but not a single sound left his lips. He clenched his fist in anger trying to convince his body to move in any way but it was useless. It had been more than a year now, but the other's presence still made him freeze in both hurt and anger. He tried to think of anything to say, but his mind was blank just like that day.

    Eunhyuk was walking down the streets of Seoul. The mild spring wind played with his hair and rustled through the roses in his hand. The Korean man whistled quietly as he crossed the street and a smile spread across his face as he thought about the surprise he had planned for his boyfriend. They had been together for 5 years now and Eunhyuk wanted this day to be special. He wrapped his hand around the little box in his pocket and his heart started to beat faster.

      He had thought a lot about this and he was sure that it was the right decision. He knew they couldn't get married officially but he wanted to make Siwon his and his alone. His smile grew even wider as he imagined how his younger boyfriend would react to his proposal.

    Before he knew it he stood in front of their shared apartment. He quickly opened the door and slipped in. Taking of his shoes his gaze fell on an unknown pair of shoes in front of him. “Just when did he buy these again” he wondered shaking his head at himself for not noticing these shoes before.

      Going to the kitchen he placed the flowers on the kitchen counter. He was still searching for a vase when he suddenly heard Siwon's voice from their bedroom. »Come here, baby! « the younger's voice was seductive and Eunhyuk jumped in surprise not expecting his boyfriend to be home.

      “Just what is this guy doing here? He is supposed to be at work!” his eyebrow raised quizzically but then a smile creped across his face. Siwon was home already which could only mean he had taken off time from work. Knowing their anniversary was important enough for Siwon to take off time from his beloved work made his heart beat faster and he quickly grabbed the flowers again.

      Heading towards the bedroom he listen for the younger's voice, but everything was quiet again except for a fainted moan that seemed to come from where he was heading to. He stopped in his track for a moment to listen, but as he didn't hear anything else he shrugged it off. Quickening his pace his fingers ones again searched for the little box when another loud moan echoed in the hallway.

      »Don't tell me he is watching « Eunhyuk chuckled but froze the same moment he opened the door. His eyes widened at the scene in front of him. His so called boyfriend was on their bed hovering over a smaller boy with his lips attached to the other's neck, their clothes spread on the ground

      Eunhyuk's mouth opened as he wanted nothing more than to scream at his boyfriend but not a sound left his lips. All he could do was stare as Siwon let his mouth wander down the other man's chest. Suddenly his eyes met with the round-faced guy's whose face immediately turned white in shock.

     »Siwon, stop! Please stop! Please, your…your b…oyfriend is here «

      As in trance the blond Korean watched his boyfriend lift himself up as the other boy quickly pulled the blankets over himself. His hands tightened around the flowers in his hand, the thorns piercing into the soft skin, as he watched Siwon grabbing a shirt while turning towards him.

      »H…Hyukkie, what are you doing here? I thought you were at work? « the younger‘s eyes were wide in surprise as he took quick steps towards the blonde Korean.

     Eunhyuk‘s mouth opened again but his mind was blank - not a single sound leaving his lips. He tried to move, tried to run away but his body didn‘t obey a single order coming from his brain.

     »Hyukkie...« the taller man was now standing right in front of him lifting his hand to the his cheek »...I...I can explain. I...«

     Eunhyuk continued to stare at his boyfriend without any reaction, but the moment he felt he raven haired Korean‘s hand on his skin he snapped from his daze. Jumping back he glared at the unknown boy huddling on their shared bed

     »I...I am sorry, b...but I got to go. I...I got to...I promised Donghae to meet him« he stuttered before turning on his heels and running towards the door.

     »Hyukkie, can I come in? « Siwon‘s deep and calm voice interrupted the older's thoughts. He hesitated a moment before he stepped aside gesturing for the taller to come in. Closing the door the blonde Korean slowly followed the raven haired still trying to wrap his head about what was happening.

     Eunhyuk immediately dropped himself on the couch as he motioned for the other to do the same. His eyes fixed on the taller he waited for him to say something, but nothing happened as an uncomfortable silence filled the room.

    After a while the Siwon raeuspern before he finally spoke up, breaking the silence.

    »Aren‘t you gonna say anything? »

     »Me?! « Eunhyuk starred at the other in disbelieve and suddenly it seemed as if his brain had returned to his body. »You are suddenly appearing on my door step after more than one year and you are expecting me to say something« the blond Korean jumped up from the couch, nearly screaming at the younger who just lowered his head.

     »Sorry« Siwon muttered, head still down, as he played with his own fingers. Eunhyuk starred at the younger in obvious surprise. This was not the Siwon he knew. The Siwon he knew was proud and strong – nothing like the person that was currently sitting on his couch. He immediately felt guilty for his harsh reaction and sat down again.

     »It's ok« he mumbled barely auditable as he bit his bottom lip trying to think of anything to say. As the awkward silence started to spread again he cleared his throat before looking straight at the person that used to be his lover.

     »So what do you want here? « the older's voice didn't show a hint of how he was feeling. It was just plain without any emotions.

     Siwon looked up for a moment before he lowered his head again and Eunhyuk was sure he actually saw tears glitter in his eyes.

     »I am sorry, Hyukkie. I am so sorry! « the younger's voice was firm but his body posture was nothing like the confident young man Eunhyuk used to know.

     »I said it is ok. Don't worry about it« the blonde haired wasn't quite sure what the other was talking and he tilted his head questioningly.

     »Not about that« he shook his head. »I mean about what I did to you. Hyukkie, I am so sorry I…« the raven haired broke off as a single tear rolled down his cheek.

     »So now you are apologizing?! « the older jumped up again. Although he had seen the younger's tear he couldn't control his anger – the hurt he felt getting the better of him. »You can't even say it! You can't even say that you fu**ing cheated on me! Do you even have any idea, what day it was?! «

     Now it was Siwon's turn to tilt his head questioningly. Lifting his head he starred at the older waiting for an answer. Eunhyuk let out a loud sign.

     »You don't even know« his voice was filled with hurt as the tears started to stream. »It was our 5 year anniversary for heaven's sake! I even took off work to surprise you and all you did was to that guy in our apartment – in our bed!! « the older's voice was growing louder and louder until it was almost tumbling towards the end.

     The younger let out a loud gasp and starred at the smaller with wide eyes before he slapped his hands in front of his face.

     »Oh my god! How could I forget this?! I am the worst boyfriend ever! I am so sorry Hyukkie! « he grabbed the blond Korean's hand as he tried to pull him closer.

      Eunhyuk froze the moment he felt Siwon's hand wrapped around his own. His heart started to race almost immediately as he could feel the younger's hot tears dripping on their joined hands. He wanted nothing more than to follow the light tug of the warm hand on his but all he could do was standing, waiting, as the raven haired continued not letting go of his hand.

     »I am really sorry Hyukkie! The thing with Kibum was a mistake. The biggest mistake I ever made and I regret it every day. It was just…« he took a deep breath before continuing »It is just that our relationship was the longest I ever had. I loved you more than anyone else before you and that freaking scared me so I tried to find distraction. I just didn't want to hurt you«

     »Oh great, so now you are telling me you cheated on me because you loved me. Well that is relieving« the older's cold voice was dripping with sarcasm. »How long did that even go? «

     »6 month« Siwon mumbled as he lowered his head again but Eunhyuk heard him anyway.

     »So for six month when I was at work you have been ing him in the same place you hold me in your arms every night? « he tried to pull his hand away but the younger tightened his grip and pulled him down next to himself instead.

     »No, Hyukkie. It was the first time and I shouldn't have done it. I shouldn't even have started something like that. I am sorry! «

     »Oh great so for our anniversary you brought him home. That really was the present I most wished for « the blond Korean snorted.

     »Hyukkie please don't be like that. I am really sorry« the younger pleaded as he slowly let go of the other's hand placing it on the cheek instead. Eunhyuk couldn't help but lean into the touch as he closed his eyes for a few seconds. »I know I hurt you Hyukkie and I know it will be hard for you to trust me again, but can you please give me another chance? « Siwon's eyes were filled with tears as he started to use his thumb to draw little circles on the older's face before slowly moving his head towards the other.

      Eunhyuk's breath hitched as his eyes were glued to the taller man's lips. He hesitated a moment, before he gave in to his heart. Closing his eyes he could feel the other's breath on his face and it immediately sent shivers down his spine.

      Suddenly he could hear Donghae's voice in his mind repeating the words he had told him so over and over again. “You deserve better than this Hyuk. If he hurts you like that, then he is not even worth your attention”.

     Within seconds he pushed the younger away jumping up almost simultaneously. Straightening his posture he starred at the younger for a second.

      »I am sorry Siwon, but I can't. What you did is inexcusable and even if I can forgive you I will never be able to trust you again. I am sorry, but please leave now«

      »But Hyukkie…« the younger was interrupted as Eunhyuk shook his head and grabbed his hand nearly dragging him out of the door.

      As the door closed with a loud thump Eunhyuk slowly slid down the door letting his tears fall freely – all the hurt he thought he had overcome coming back to his consciousness. He wasn't sure how long he was sitting there like this but soon he felt someone sitting beside him. He didn't need to look up to know that it was his best friend Donghae who immediately wrapped his strong arms around his shaking body holding him close as he cried into the younger's shoulder.

     After a while his sobs slowly became less and he pulled away a little to look at his friend.

     »Hae, what shell I do? It still hurts so much« tears still streamed down the blonde's face as he looked at the other pleadingly.

      The younger immediately shushed him as he took the older's hand into his own drawing circles around the little scar that was still left from where the roses' thorn had pierced the delicate skin.

      »Don't worry Hyuk. It gets better eventually. I promise! « putting a finger under the older's chin he lifted his head up carefully before looking straight into the others eyes. »And I will always be there for you no matter what happens, that I promise too«

     Donghae slowly brought the others hand up to his chest right above his heart before pulling him into another tight, comforting hug.
