As the television blares with the sound of screaming fans, you watch Got7 perform silently. Your boyfriend, Jackson, danced with perfection on the stage. Everytime he opened his mouth for his part, fans went wild.

Of course you were happy for him, even proud of him. But it was times like these that made you miss him, when you saw him through the television, and not in person. You felt jealous sometimes that those fans were able to see him in person when you couldn’t. As the rest of the music show went on, you started to doze off on your couch.

In your dream, you were on a date with Jackson. You two were enjoying yourselves, having a good time. All of a sudden, Jackson wasn’t there. You looked around only to find him outside the window, surrounded by a bunch of fans. He seemed so distant from you, and you were so far away from him.

When you woke up, you checked the time. 1:37 AM. You yawned and stretched your arms out. Ugh, good thing it’s Saturday. Not bothering with getting anything to eat, you made your way to your room so you could be more comfortable when sleeping. With a little bit of a troubled mind, you somehow managed to fall back asleep.

You woke up that morning and stirred in bed. Blinking a few times to see properly, you grabbed your phone and checked what you missed, if anything.

Jackson

hey i have some free time today

Jackson

do you wanna meet for dinner?

Sliding the text, you replied sure, text me the address and ill meet you there.

During the morning, you got your household chores done. You had nothing else better to do and wanted to get things out of the way. After finishing with them, you took a shower and readied yourself to meet Jackson. By that time it was already, 6pm, and you still had to meet him at the restaurant. You grabbed your belongings and headed out the door.

As expected, you arrived first. The waiter came by to take your order, but you just ordered a drink as you waited. 20 minutes after you arrived, Jackson finally came.

“Hey babe, so sorry I’m late! I was about to leave but I had to sneak away from the fans.”

“It’s fine, I understand,” you looked at him restlessly.

“I kept you waiting a long time, didn’t I?” he asked, taking a seat across from you. When you didn’t answer, he looked at you and noticed the gloomy look on your face. He decided to let it go then, but you weren’t talking to him throughout dinner and gave him short answers.

“Hey, Y/n…are you okay? You look a little…”

“Sad? Tired? Lonely? Well yeah, maybe because I am, Jackson,” you finally told him. He looked at you apologetically.

“Is this what you were going through all this time, Y/n? I’m sorry, I didn’t know…I barely paid any attention to you. I’m really sorry…” he looked down, ashamed of himself for being a bad boyfriend. However, he didn’t want you to keep feeling this way.

“Can I make it up to you?” he asked, a little more perked up. When you looked at him with inquiring eyes, he took that as a yes.

“Okay, I’ll pay the bill here and I’ll take you to somewhere you’ll love, hm?” You nodded gently and he winked at you.

As you exited the restaurant, Jackson fit his hand over yours.

“It’s not far from here, unless you want to drive down there?” You shook your head.

“I like walking, it’s nice. And you said it’s not too far, I think I can handle it.” You answered back confidently, and he gave your hand a squeeze.

While walking, you noticed that you have walked this path before, but somehow could still not guess where you were going. An idea entered your mind, but you denied it as soon as it did. When Jackson stopped in front of the bakery, you smiled. So I was right.

Jackson let go of your hand to open the door for you. You looked at him and bowed, saying, “Why thank you, kind sir.”

“It was my pleasure, miss.”

When you entered, Jackson told you to “order anything you’d like.” You ordered your favorite dessert and he ordered some organic green tea cake, making sure to watch his diet. You giggled at his caution, wanting to tell him,Babe, you look fine, but you knew he wouldn’t listen.

Jackson got the plates and sat down by the window of the bakery.

“Does it taste good?” You nodded with your mouth full.

When you finished chewing and swallowed, you replied, “My favorite dessert at my favorite bakery. How could it not?” Jackson shrugged.

“I don’t know, maybe someone else could have made the food.” You grinned and continued to eat.

As Jackson was finishing his cake, you had an idea.

“Hey Jackson,” he looked up at you cutely, surprised. “You got a lil something on your face.”

“Really? Where?”

You got up and pretended to search his face before giving him a peck on the lips.

“Right there.”
