it's 1.20pm and you are already here. in the corner of Odini, your favorite coffee shop. you are sitting next to the window, your favorite spot on Odini, waiting for your Caffee Latte to be served

it's unusual for you to be in Odini at this time, because usually you come to Odini at 3pm. of course there is a reason behind it

you're upset. an hour ago you and your boyfriend, Suga, were in an argument for a little thing. you asked Suga about your plan to go to a movie together. when will they go. the film is already out. and Suga easily replied with "go with your friends. I'm sleepy". when you asked him about tomorrow, he replied with "I have plan to do". and he kept going like that, until you realized that he didn't wanna watch the movie with you. you're upset. because he promised you to watch it together. and he asked you first, so why he cancelled it now?

you don't wanna go home at first, because you know Suga will go there knowing that you're upset. IF he knows that you are upset. he's just too ignorant to realize your feelings. and you are afraid if you were at home now, you would be bundled up yourself with blanket and crying

so, here you are. alone. when everyone has partners to share the table with. it's freaking 1.20pm, lunch time, of course everyone is having their lunch with someone else

when your coffee is delivered, you stare at it for a moment, sip it, and then put it back to the table. the Latte really warmed your heart, calms it down. and then you are looking at the window, to the cars passing by outside. you are asking yourself, why is Suga is so ignorant. why he really enjoys time with himself at home, playing piano and guitar. why he loves being with his friends more than with me. if he doesn't want me to bother him, then why he asked me out first? why he told me that he wanted to be with me forever?

you stop the thoughts before it's too late. you wipe the tears, thank God it's only two or three drops so they don't make your eyes red. you don't want anyone there to stare at you with a puzzle look, because you are crying out loud

you don't bring any gadgets except your phone. you don't wanna check your phone either because you don't wanna be worried about Suga's whereabout. see, you still care for him eventhough he upsets you that much. you know you love him, that's why you can't stay mad at him for a long time

you can’t do anything except looking at people in Odini. watching them talking to each other. if only you asked one of your best friends to be with you right now. so you are not so lonely. but you're too upset to think of something before. you can only think that you need a healing time, for yourself, that's why you are here alone after classes in college

after an hour and half, you decided to go home. because you don't wanna be more blue in Odini. you are already calm down a bit, but your smile hasn't come back. maybe playing with your cat at home will bring it back

one thing you don't know, there is one guy, sitting not too far from you, watching you all the time. wondering why are you in Odini alone and gloomy in a bright shiny day

 

the next day you come to Odini again, with your laptop and some of your friends now. you are here to finish your group's task. because Odini is not so far from your college, you and your friends decided to come here. you are all-smiling face right after you step in to Odini. your mood is up in the sky. nothing can make you feel any better. and you don't even know why. you just feel that today is a great day so you won't be blue. you were gloomy enough yesterday and you don't wanna feel it again. eventhough your relationship with Suga haven't gotten any better because the argument, you don't want it overcomes you today

you are laughing along with your friends. talking about anything. college life, love, food, film, anything. all of you are in a good mood. that's why you can finish your task easily

that guy is watching you again. but today, he's relieved that you are smiling and laughing happily

 

you are in Odini again the next day of course. it's your daily routine. but today Odini is sooooo full. luckily your favorite spot is empty so you can enjoy seeing cars passing by again. it's raining, maybe that's why Odini is so full of people who wants to warm theirselves. it's a gloomy and raining day. today is the third day you haven't spoken to Suga. it's a day off in college, and you haven't seen Suga since yesterday. you know Suga is somehow ignorant but it's unusual for him not to say hi to you for a day, two days even. you don't wanna be the first one to make a move. because you think it's his fault for cancelling your plan. yet he doesn't say anything for two days. you miss him, of course. but your ego overcomes you to make you think million times to make a move first

"emm... excuse me, may I sit here? there is no other empty seats" a guy asks you when you are watching cars passing by

"oh, sure. here" you take your bag from the other chair for him to sit

"I'm really sorry. I don't wanna disturb you but there is no empty chair left" the guy smiling, a warm smile that makes you smile along

"nah, don't be sorry. I'm all by myself tho, yet I use two chairs hahaha"

"by the way, I'm Jimin. I see you many times here" he holds out his hand first

"I'm Gaeul. oh you do? hahaha. I come here way too often. it's like a daily routine for me. because I really love coffee and I like the atmosphere here. really warm my heart. so, you come here often too?" you grab his hand, warm and soft, like his smile. and you love his smile. because his eyes smiling too

"not as many times as you do, but now I do that a lot I don't even know why. let's say that I love the atmosphere too" you both are smiling to each other. he seems nice. doesn't have any ill will towards you. you and him continue talking basic things, like the way strangers do when they first meet. you finally know that Jimin is in the same age as you, and currently studying in the same college as you too, but in a different major. you are majoring in Design and he is in Dance

"I see you are gloomy today, like two days ago. why are you so gloomy, again? like it's only one day I see you happy" he asks you. and you are quite surprised that he is actually paying attention to you two days ago

"you know, love sometimes hurts. I'm currently on not-talking state with my boyfriend. I'm upset with him, well I was. he cancelled our plan to go to the movie to watch a film. we planned it weeks ago and he was the one who asked first. and when I asked him when will we go, he gave me way too many reasons to cancelled it. like, he doesn't wanna do it from the first time he asked. the reasons are some so stupid. sleepy, have a plan, playing, something like that" you explain to him the point

"maybe he really is sleepy" he says that while he drinks his coffee

"he was, two days ago"

"okay. and why didn't you go to the movie yesterday?"

"he said he has plans to do"

"uh-huh. and now?"

"two days ago he said he is going to play billiards with friends today"

"tomorrow?"

"he wanna sleep all day. trust me, Jimin, I tried to ask him for the next next next next day, but he always said he has plans. and he told me to watch the movie with my friends. oh God, he was the first person to asked me, why cancelled it?" you roll your eyes

"so, did you watch it already with your friend?" you like how calm Jimin asked all the questions

"no. my friends are busy. I'll end up watching it by myself"

"ow. how about we watch it together tomorrow? I haven't watched it yet so I can save you from loneliness for watching it alone" his eyes become bigger when he asks you that, and smiling too. he always smiles

"aaaaaaaaaaawww so sweet of you Jimin! deal deal deaal. let's go!" you can't hide your excitement in front of Jimin who is laughing because of your excited-expression

"let's meet up here tomorrow at 11.30am and dont bring your car. I'll drive us to the movie. okay?"

you nod in agreement. you exchange numbers with Jimin. after two hours talking and laughing, you two part ways. you drive your way home smiling, didn't expect to meet someone as nice as Jimin.

 

Jimin really keeps his promise to you. the next day he brings her car, and he arrives earlier than you. when you arrive, you can see him smiling and waving from his table. you come near him, and you two chatting a bit. at 11.30am straight, you two head to the movie

the movie went fast. you and Jimin don't realize it until the credit showed up. after the movie, you and Jimin go to nearest restaurant because you are hungry to death. as usual, you two are talking from A to Z. Jimin is so easy-going and never cut you in the middle of talking. he listens patiently, because you can't stop talking. if you ask him anything, he will answer you whole-heartedly. like you two have known each other for so long

Jimin drives you home. he insists to. at first you told him to drive you to the nearest bus stop but he insisted to drive you home. you don't wanna argue with him, so you just said yes. Jimin is so kind that's why you don't wanna burden him more. he offered you to go to the movie together is more than enough for you

when you reach your house, Jimin asks you to try talking to Suga. it has to be done tonight by one of you. if Suga hasn't made his move yet, you better talk to him first. if you don't, you'll probably not talking with him forever. saying sorry first doesn't always mean you are the one to be blamed, but it's saving a relationship before it makes two persons or more become a complete stranger. Jimin says that before he goes home. somehow you feel guilty not to reach Suga first

the first thing you do after you change clothes is laying in the bed and thinking what should you send Suga as message. you don't want to be cheesy yet you don't want him to feel that you are still mad. so it's a simple "I'm sorry I acted like a child only because you cancelled our plan. don't ignore me again. I love you"

five minutes later there is a reply from Suga. "I AM sorry. I just not in the mood for watching any films right now. please don't think that I don't wanna spend time with you. I do want to. but not watching films. and I'm not ignoring you. I'm just thinking either you are mad at me or not. I'm afraid if I contacted you first, you would ignore me. it's nearly 10pm now, and I know you are sleepy. so I will call you in the morning. I love you, darling"

you realize that he actually cares. he knows that you go to bed at 10pm. he cares. he loves you. and you off to dreamland smiling

 

you are awaken by your phone's ringtone in the morning. you know immediately it's Suga, you are smiling as you grab your phone

"hello..."

"good morning, darling"

"good morning to you too, sweety" you answer him with a just-wake-up-voice

"you just woke up? oh sorry for waking you up"

"don't be sorry. it's good to hear your voice in the morning, after 3 days"

"I miss you"

"I miss you too. why it seems like you are sad?"

"no, I'm not. it's just, I'm happy tp hear your voice. you know I love your just-wake-up-voice. it sounds so natural"

"date my voice than"

"hahahaha. no way. I love you with all you have"

"meh. hahaha"

"so, did you watch the film already? I told you to watch it with your friends. did you?"

"yes, I did. don't be mad. I watched it with a guy. a friend actually. I met him in Odini"

there is a silence for some seconds

"Suga, sweetheart, are you mad? I'm sorry. I'm not betraying you I swear"

"I believe you. I'm not mad. that's a punishment for me for cancelling our plan. I'm not mad, really. and I know you won't betray me anyway"

"his name is Jimin. you should met him some time. he is the one who asked me to contact you first. he is nice, like you. the difference is you are ignorant and he's not. hahaha. just kidding baby I love you you know it"

"you know I'm ignorant from the beginning hahaha. he seems nice. let me thank him some time. you should get up, wash your face, and eat your breakfast. message me later. I love you, Gaeul"

"you should too. love you too, Suga"

you hang up the call smiling. it's a relief that it settled down now. Suga is so sweet eventhough he's ignorant. you know deep down in his heart, he's a caring person. and he proves it already

you message Jimin, thank him and say you and Suga are in the pink now

Jimin message you back, expressing that he is relieve that you two are good now

one thing you don't know, Jimin is smiling when he reads your message. knowing that two of his jobs are done

 

you become bestfriends with Jimin. now you hang out not only in Odini, but in mall, park, and anywhere. but of course Odini is your favorite place to go. it's the third week from your first time meeting Jimin. you always wondering if only you know Jimin earlier, you would be happier. because Jimin is really a best-friend material. you wonder why he has no girlfriend now. he's everything a girl could dream of. not for you of course, because you love Suga and only him. you take picture together in the park when you and Jimin are sitting under the tree. the weather is too nice not to take a picture. and you don't wanna forget it

you decided to bring Suga along with you to Odini on the next day. you want to introduce Jimin to Suga. because Suga is curious enough of Jimin. he can't wait to see Jimin to make you stop talking about him. Suga knows that you don't have any feelings towards Jimin more than a bestfriend. and Suga believes you so much. you haven't called or messaged Jimin to ask his whereabouts. because you know Jimin will show up any moment. it's Saturday and usually Jimin spends his time at Odini

but not today. he never show up. you end up spending your precious time as a lover with Suga

 

you have your breakfast at Odini at Sunday. you don't have anything to eat in your house so here you are. Sunday breakfast at Odini. when you are searching for a table, your eyes caught someone in your favorite spot. Jimin.

"where are you yesterday? Suga wanted to meet you"

Jimin is not answering. he just looks at you sadly and sigh

"what's wrong?"

"you are always wondering why I have no girlfriend"

"yes. why? you are everything a girl could dream of tho"

"will you do everything to bring someone back to life?" you are surprised at his question. and you can't say anything

"I will. my last girlfriend is dead, Gaeul. you can blame me for it. we were bickering for something. and then I was so mad at her, so I left her alone. she tried to catch up. and when she was crossing the street, catching me up, a car hit her. hard. I couldn't save her. if only I wasn't mad at her that much. if only I didn't left her"

somehow you are sad seeing him like this. he rarely sad. and when he is, it breaks your heart

"don't blame your self, Jimin. you can't control someone's live and death"

"but I could prevent it"

"please, dont blame youself. she's already happy there. and I bet she doesn't want you to be sad. if you are sad everytime because of her, crying for your lost, she won't be happy. trust me. she is in the right place right now. it's 9am in the morning for God sake Jimin. it's way to early to be gloomy"

"hhhh. you are right. I can't control someone's live and death. I will let her go, step by step. it's just I'm mad at myself"

"it's so weird to see you gloomy like this. you are the type to work hard to brighten someone's day. and I can't do that. I'm not you so I can't make you feel any better like you did. sorry"

"okay then back to the bright Jimin!"

you are talking to each other, mostly you are the one who talk because you want Jimin to feel better so you talk so much. after that you and Jimin go to nearest mall, to go shopping for Suga's birthday. Jimin decided to buy him something as an apology for not being able to meet him yesterday

 

after that you haven't seen Jimin at all. for weeks. you wonder why. he doesn't answer your calls nor reply your messages. he never show up at Odini again. or maybe he goes there when you didn't. you feel like something's wrong, something's going on. but you don't know why. your bestfriend is nowhere to be seen. you are worried, so much until you cry everynight

his friends in college don't know his whereabout too. and they try to reach him first but he won't answer. everyone is looking for him. everyone is wondering what is going on with him

until two weeks later, he messages you. he asks you to come to Odini at 4pm. you rush out to be there soon

 

as soon as you see him at Odini, you come near him and snap out

"where have you been??? don't you know I'm worried? why you didn't answer my calls?"

he is smiling

"how dare you smile at me like that? God Park Jimin you are so mean omg I'm crying"

he hands you one cup of coffee. your favorite Caffee Latte

"I know you will immediately snap out like that and you won't think of ordering any coffee. so, here, Caffee Latte for you"

"thanks" you thank him not with smile

"Gaeul, I'm sorry. sorry for making you worried. sorry for gone for weeks. I'm sorry" there is a guilty behind his smile and his voice

you remind silent. rolling your eyes

"there is a reason why I did that. why I was gone for weeks"

"yeah?" you are waiting for an explanation

"my time has come, Gaeul"

"what? what time?" you are so confused

"I have so much sins. I'm a bad guy. I've done so many mistakes...."

"me too, so what time has come? mine too? I've done mistakes too"

he smiles. again. a sweet yet sad one

"I've done so many mistakes. even if I atone for the rest of my life, I can't make it up. but God gave me one last chance"

you dont know why you start crying now. you don't want it to happen like what you think it is

"I was in a car accident two months ago, Gaeul. I'm hurt pretty bad. even the doctors seemed so hopeless to help me

when I was in a state of coma, God asked me something. if I have time, what would I do to fix my mistakes. I told him that I would help anyone to feel happy, smiling. anyone

so, he told me that he gave me two months for making one person happy three times

then he woke me up. and he said if the person already happy because of you, three times, you should whole-heartedly coming with me to heaven"

you start sobbing. you can't control your sadness

"I know it's not much, but at least I make you happy three times. maybe you don't realize it. but I already saw you smiling all day three times because of me"

"yeah? when?" you ask him while crying

"when I take you to the movie. when you told me you are in the pink. and when I bought a present for Suga's birthday"

"but...but....it's not only that. you always make me happy, Jimin"

"don't be like that. don't make it even harder for me to leave. it's my time already, Gaeul. at least I atone myself"

"DON'T LEAVE ME" you grab his hands, sobbing

"I have to. if I could, I won't leave you"

your tears don't stop falling

"but I won't leave you with nothing. at least I bought you coffee. one last coffee. this is the last Caffee Latte from me, Gaeul" he grabs your hand back, ensuring your hands are warm like his

"one last coffee. one. last. coffee. Jimin you are so mean"

"I'm sorry. please let me go. be healthy. be happy. be happy with Suga too. he is a good man"

nothing comes out from your mouth

"I love you, Gaeul. thank you for giving me a great two months" he's smiling, wide, calmly, sweetly. when you see his face, he's crying too

"thank you, Jimin, for everything. I love you too"

and when you realize, you are all alone there. no one is there with you. you are alone, crying, holding onto a cup of Caffee Latte. his one last coffee
