It was painful, knowing that you lost your chance…that you failed. That one special thing that you held dear managed to escape your iron grasp. Truthfully, Jonghyun knew that this would eventually happen to his and Eunsook’s once beautiful relationship. They were already engaged yet the signs were popping up, left and right, as much as Jonghyun tried to deny seeing them; nights spent snuggled together under their fluffy covers were now spent lying stiff side by side, goodbye kisses that once meant see you very soon now spoke of I don’t think you’d still come back, were some of it. They mocked Jonghyun everyday of his pathetic existence. He ignored them however, thinking that they were just fleeting moments of bad luck. They would pass, he always reassured himself.

Now, though, look at what his indifference brought to him. It was the end of him and Eunsook, and not even foreseeing it made it any less of a heartbreak.
