Hey, guys! I'm back from my hiatus since Christmas break is gna start soon. This is something I've been working on since the end of summer. It's going to be a 5 part story, and I've already gotten 4 parts done. So please anticipate it! 

Everything remained the same, Jungkook noted.

His parents still lived in the rural area of South Korea, in the same home, with the same yellow and orange striped wallpaper. His older sibling was still obsessed with baking and taking care of others before himself. His younger siblings still prefered to ride horses or play on the tire swings as opposed to spending time on the computer or television. His grandparents, despite old age, were still working hard on tending their gardens.

Everything remained the same, Jungkook noted.

But everything felt different.

“Jungkook?” His mother, Yejin, gasped when she found her son -- her idol son -- standing in the living room, tracing the outline of the striped pattern.

Ashamed of letting himself be the center of a DUI scandal, Jungkook bowed his head. He asked his mother if he could live at home for a while, leaving out his reasons.

The crinkles on Yejin’s face turned up along with the corners of . Not knowing why her song had decided to return home, but was glad that he had, she wrapped her arms around him in a hug.

It had been seven years since he’s been home.
