Description

In the year 2010, baminton is introduced as a compulsory sport to be done in all schools across the country. This was the goverments attempt to make the younger generation live healthier lifestyles (which by then consisted of sleep, studying, more studying and social media).

By the year 2015, badminton's popularity is at a new high. Everywhere you turn to there are promotions, TV adverts, posters. Then there came the opening of full time badminton schools, sports academys. These had become the new elite schools , only the privileged would attend and only they could ( well lets say the school fees aren't exactly average wage friendly).

Having talent... Money and fame would follow after. That was the idea, if you were good at badminton, money, fame and status would follow.

Foreword

I wanted to have it all, all the things I had dreamed of my whole life.

I was one step closer, one step nearer... but then he appeared. The broken athlete, already born at the top, he had nothing to lose unlike me.

I hated him, I hated him for ruining my life, for making me cry, for making me suffer, for leaving me... but I hate myelf more for loving him.
