"Ahjumma! One patbingsoo and one hot chocolate please!" He shouted in order to get his voice heard in this noisy restaurant

"I warned you! Now don’t complain to me if you catch cold eating patbingsoo in this weather!" She warned

"Ya, Kang Yeondoo have some pity. I was away this entire summer, and do you know how much I missed this patbingsoo!? "

She couldn’t resist smiling at that. She did know how much love he had for patbingsoo…well anything sweet actually. She remembered the time he actually dragged her to dessert buffet and he ended up eating so much that he hadn't looked at any sweet stuffs of a week. She chuckled at the memory

"What are you thinking of?" he asked curiously

"Hmm. Just remembering the dessert buffet incident." She laughed and he winced at the memory

"Hajoon ah, where do you plan to stay in Seoul? I know you aren't going to stay with your parents and you moved out of your old apartment when you left.." she broached the subject, aware that the subject of his family was something that was still sensitive to him even today. Even though he acted like he was all okay now, she was aware that he occasionally has nightmares about his childhood..

"I had thought of staying in hotel for few days while I searched for a new apartment. Aishh, if I had known my trip would only be for three months I wouldn't have left that apartment.." he sighed

"Instead of staying at hotel or searching for an apartment, why don’t you move in with me?" she asked casually, gauging his reaction. His head shot up, looking at her as if he couldn’t understand what she was saying. Then the words must have registered as there was a wicked smile on his face. She could clearly imagine what was going on his mind and rolled her eyes

"Seo Hajoon. STOP your imagination! " she muttered

"What do you mean? " he asked in fake innocent manner and she scoffed

"I suggested that for practical reasons. My roommate left to study abroad and hence I have one empty bedroom. I was actually searching for roommate, so why not you?" she explained

"I'm fine with it all, but won't people talk about it? I mean, they will eventually find out if we live together."

"There is only one person whose thoughts matter to me, and since she has no objection to it I don’t care what others think." She shrugged

"Do you mean to say…that you already talked to your mother about it?" he looked at her, all amazed

She smiled at him triumphantly "Actually….she was the one who suggested it to me"

She could see Hajoon's jaw dropping literally and laughed at that. She thought she knew her mother by being with her the entire life, and thought she had gotten used to the surprising and unique things she said and did, but her mother outdid herself this time. Her exact words were 'Ask him to move in with you. You guys are practically married anyway, and I will be reassured knowing he is with you." Her reaction then was same  as Hajoon right now

"Your mother….is JJANG!" he gave her thumbs up

"I know. " she laughed

"I'll move in then."

"Let's go collect your stuffs from locker after this then."

"Arasso….And Yeondoo ya, do you really think we will be needing two bedrooms?" he whispered in her ears, making her blush to the root of her hair

"Ya! Seo Hajoon! "
