Her Prologue

[Mirai's POV]

Hi everyone!  

My name is Mirai Shida. I just turned 22 years old on May 10th this year. The good news was that this year, though indirectly, I received a special gift for my birthday. I considered it as the most special gift since it was not your ordinary ones and I never expected nor imagined that I would get that kind of gift. So, what’s it? On my birthday, I got the chance to attend World Premier Disney’s “Tomorrowland”, and more, I was the representative of Japan! Could you imagine how happy I was? Wasn’t that a wonderful present ever? Well, that could be considered as a birthday gift, right?

Erm… but don’t get it wrong either that I got all happy with that…

Along with that special gift, I had to reel my brain to persuade a certain someone who suddenly got mad at me. Who did you think that person was? It’s none other than Ryosuke Yamada!

He has been my boyfriend—my easily getting jealous boyfriend—ever since the last day of Tantei Gakuen Q drama shooting. How long have it been I keep up with that boyfriend of mine and his jealousy? Almost 8 years!! It surprised me as well honestly. Whenever the leading actors in my dramas were good looking enough, and whenever I got the scenes that required me to be closed with my male costars, Ryo-chan would get jealous. The more handsome my costar was, and the more the amount of intimate scene I got, the more intense his level of jealousy would be.

Oh, anyway, the fact that I and Ryo-chan dating is still kept from public. It’s a secret that no one but our parents and trusted friends knew about. What public knew was that we had acted together in the SP and the drama series of Tantei Gakuen Q, and also the fact that we both went to Horikoshi High School. Aside from that, there was almost nothing of news speaking a story about our ‘closeness’. Yet, even without such rumor I already got so many hatred, so many antifans coming from his fandom. I didn’t even want to imagine what would happen if someday the truth of us dating leaked out to public. That must be so freaking crazy! Oops, I mean, that would be so scary!

Erm... then when miraculously there was rumor about us, it always happened because of Ryo-chan’s spill-out. He sometimes accidentally hinted at me in his interviews. Even without explicitly mentioning my name, public somehow could grasp the clues that it would often lead them to speculate about our relationship—which was often right at the points but never been confirmed by either of us. The fact that anything could happen when Ryo-chan was jealous scares me. If he isn’t careful, he could possibly reveal this secret of us.

Also, he has always been so busy with interviews and such. Just how much of an idol he is. Perhaps that’s why I don’t like idols generally. Yet, I never expected I would live dating an idol. Aargh, I couldn’t even understand myself... how could I fell for such a super idol like Ryo-chan! I believed you all realized how popular he is, right?

Well, the secret is, even though he is such a jealous boyfriend, I’m just the same. Not that I would admit it to him. He doesn’t know, and probably would never know, that I’m easily getting jealous, too.

I don’t like the person that I love being closed to those girls, but just like my job, I had to put up a front as though it didn’t matter for me. Ryo-chan just never knew how much I got jealous over those flirty words and acts he had been doing on stage for his fans. I knew it was merely fanservices, but still... Well, of course I never showed him that I was jealous.

Another reason why I got jealous over his fans is because he never said that to me! Could you believe it? He never once told me such sweets words even after years of being my boyfriend! Well, actually sometimes he unconsciously became so sweet to me and made me blush at his words, but it’s different! He never said it on purpose. It
