“So? I don’t care about her anymore” Eunhyuk said with cold expression

Suddenly Sungmin shouted and said “Really?! Hyung so it means I can have Mingi I repeat, only MINE” Sungmin emphasize the word ‘MINE ’

Eunhyuk gave him the death glare

“Ouch!” Sungmin winced in pain when Leeteuk hit his head

“Why the Hell did you do that?”Sungmin question who is still suffering from the pain

“Do you know what are you talking? Can’t you remember what she did to us?”Leeteuk answered with angry tone because he remember the time when Mingi lied to them and left without saying goodbye.

“Yah! Of course I still remember that and I’m just joking okay? So no need to worry “Sungmin Explained

“The two of you can you stop that, who cares if she’s back just ignore her ok?”Kyuhyun said

“Hi oppa’s “Yoonhae said. Yoonhae and Mingi are best friend since first year of high school they are now seniors. Yoonhae is older but she prefers to call Mingi Unnie because she acts like more mature than  to her .back to their conversation

“Hi baby Yoon” super junior said they call her “baby Yoon” because she act like baby.

“Hi babe” Donghae said and hug Yoonhae.  For you to know they are a couple

“Hi oppa” Yoonhae said

“How are you?”She asked as she release the hug?

“I’m fine “Donghae answered and face her

The two of them are hugging and kissing but they forgot about the rest so Heechul cleared his throat to get their attention and fortunately both of them (Yoonhae and Donghae) stop.

And both of them look down for embarrassment

“Okay, so back to our topic “Leeteuk said

“What topic?” Yoonhae asked clueless

“Were talking about Mingi” Sungmin said

“What about her? Don’t tell me you already forgive UNNIE” Yoonhae said in excitement because she want the all of her friends (super junior and Mingi) become friends again not enemy.

But her excitement slowly faded when Eunhyuk said “Yoonhae don’t think that we can forgive her and remember this ok I hate her and I don’t care about her ANYMORE” Eunhyuk emphasized the word ‘anymore’ and he directly leave the group.

Yoonhae and the rest stood there and watch as he leave the group

Yoonhae stood there and she did not realize that tears are starting to flow from her eyes. The rest of super junior saw it and they try to calm her.

GGGRRRRIIINNNGGGG!!!!!!!!! The bell rang and all of the students are already in their own room.

“Okay class you have a new classmate” Mr. Kim said when the students heard this they star gossiping

“Is it a girl or boy?”

“I hope it is a girl”

“I hope it is o boy”

“Okay class please keep quiet, I know some of you are excited to meet   your new classmate.” Mr. Kim said

“Okay miss Lee you may now enter the room and introduce yourself”

‘Ms. Lee’ enters the room and some of the student gasps from what they saw

----- Mingi POV---------

When I enter the room some of the students gasp because they can’t believe that I’m back

“Hello guys, miss me? Ha-ha anyway I know some of you already know me but some are not so let me introduce myself I’m Lee Mingi I’m a old student here nice to meet you again” I said and I saw my Best friend or maybe my Ex-Best friend,

When I turned my head to the left I saw all the super junior with a shock face and when I look at Eunhyuk he gave  me a cold glare and just smirk at me. I just ignore him because I already expected that it will happen.

*I’m so sorry guys please forgive me*I thought

But Mr. Kim interrupt me “Mingi you may now sit beside Eunhyuk” he said and I look at Eunhyuk but he is busy listening to music so I start to walk to my chair.

When I reach it I look to the super junior but they just ignore me *I guess you really hate me*I thought

And the lesson start but I can’t concentrate because some of the super junior members keep on looking at me but they just give me a cold look specially to Eunhyuk he keeps on looking at me and when I look at him he just smirk

*gahh`~ I can’t concentrate. I guess they won’t forgive me*

I thought and someone bumped at me and both of us fell backwards

When I look up I saw the guy who is trying to help me to stand up “sorry “I quickly said

“It’s ok. I should be the one who is saying sorry to you because I’m not watching where I’m going “the guy said as he help you

When the guy bumped to Mingi super junior saw it

 

While Mingi is eating at the cafeteria Jun Hyung approach her and asked if he can sit with her and Mingi agreed

Both of them are happy while talking but they don’t know that super junior and Yoonhae are looking to them

-- Eunhyuk POV—

I saw Mingi and Junhyung talking and eating together they look like a happy couple I wish I was Junhyung—WAIT? WHAT no Eunhyuk you hate her right just ignore her you already have a girlfriend.

“Yah! Hyung are you ok?”Kyuhyun said

“Eh? Yes I’m ok I’m just thinking something “I said

“Oh?  Ok”Kyuhyun said

“I guess Mingi and Junhyung are already close and it seems that Junhyung like Mingi” Leeteuk said

“So? It’s ok” I said *is it really ok with me?*I thought.

“Guys lets go to out hide out” Heechul said

 

“Ok” all super junior members answered

 

 

Many days had pass Mingi and Junhyung are really close

While the super junior keep on ignoring her and some of the b*itch keep on bullying Mingi because she is close to Junhyung but they don’t know that Mingi is suffering from a lung cancer everyday she become weaker and thank to Junhyung he always accompany Mingi whenever she is not feeling well

Junhyung knew that she has a cancer because when she was hospitalize he ask the doctor about Mingi’s illness but Mingi want it to be secret so they promise each other that no one will knew about her illness.

“Yah Mingi are you sure you don’t want to tell it to super junior and to Yoonhae about your illness “Junhyung asked you

“No need, they really hate me and they don’t want me to explain why did I left, and this is the only way for them to not to worry about me and I already accept it and it is only months that I will be able to see this beautiful world, and I want them to be happy” Mingi said and tears are starting to flow down from her eyes

Junhyung hug her and try to calm her

-Flashback-

While the teen top are talking at the field Mingi approach them

“Guys can I talk to you?” Mingi asked them but they just ignore her but Yoonhae hug her tight “UNNIE! I miss you but I also hate you!!” Yoonhae said while crying Mingi hug her back “I miss you too baby Yoon, I know you hate me but it’s ok. Sorry Yoonhae -ah” Mingi said and cried

After that she release the hug

And she look at Eunhyuk but Eunhyuk is busy with his NEW girlfriend * Mingi you can do it he don’t love you anymore* Mingi thought he approach Eunhyuk

“Oppa I’m so sor-“she was cut of by Eunhyuk’s girlfriend

“Yah! Don’t call my Eunhyuk oppa ‘oppa’ because I only have that right to call him that you understand” Hyunlei (Eunhyuk’s girlfriend) shouted

Mingi got shock but he smile at her “oh ok, by the way can I talk to Eunhyuk “Mingi ask

Hyunlei look at Eunhyuk and Eunhyuk kissed her in the lips and said that it’s ok

Eunhyuk stood up and starts to walk to Mingi’s direction

* Mingi it is just a kiss ok? And Hyunlei is right you don’t have a right to call him ‘oppa’ anymore because your not his girlfriend* Mingi thought

“So, what do you want to tell? Another lie again?” Eunhyuk said with cold expression

“Oppa, I just want to tell you I’m so sorry. “

“Sorry? You want to talk to me just to say sorry? I just wasted my time to you!?” Eunhyuk said and leave

“And by the way don’t EVER call me ‘oppa’”

“Eunhyuk I want to explained everything” Mingi shouted

“No need B*tch, I don’t want to listen to your explanation or should I say another LIE!!” Eunhyuk shouted back

Mingi got shock when Eunhyuk called her B*tch

The other super junior members just look at her and leave with Eunhyuk

“Unnie” Yoonhae said

“Yah Yoonhae -ah don’t talk to that b*tch lets go!” Eunhyuk said

Mingi cried and fell on her knees

And she felt dizziness and her chest is starting to feel pain then suddenly it went blank       ------------

Thanks to Junhyung who happen to pass by at the corridor and saw Mingi and he directly bring her to the school clinic.

“Mingi are you alright? Why you look so pale? Yah! Answer me “Junhyung asked Mingi

“Oppa, I ca- can’t b- breath and my chest it’s really hurt. Oppa help me” Mingi cried, she can’t control her breathing then she got unconscious

“Mingi, Wake up” Junhyung shake her as he tries to wake her up

Suddenly the nurse enter the clinic and she examine her

“Let’s bring her to the hospital” the nurse said and she call the ambulance.

Meanwhile the super junior already eating at the cafeteria

“Hyung why did you call Mingi ‘b*tch’? Kyuhyun asked

“Why? Its ok and that name really fit to her, right oppa?”Hyunlei said

“Am I talking to you?”Kyuhyun asked

“No, but your talking to my oppa so I can answer your question “Hyunlei said

“Aish~ this girl “Kyuhyun murmured

*why did I call her b*tch? Yah~ eunhyuk your so stupid, No it is right to call her b*tch after what she did to Me.* Eunhyuk thought

“Guys did you notice she looks skinnier and she look so pale” Leeteuk said

“Yeah I noticed it too” Sungmin said

“OH MY GOD! Maybe she is sick” Yoonhae said in worried tone

“Yah! You’re over reacting Yoonhae” Eunhyuk said

“But there is a possibility right?” Yoonhae answered

“What if it is true? What should we do?” Donghae said

“We will not do anything about her and remember we don’t care about her anymore and we don’t know her!” Eunhyuk simply said

“oppa?” why are you so rude to Unnie?” Yoonhae asked in sad tone

“She deserved it” he simply answered

“Hyung are you sure that you don’t care about her anymore?”Kyuhyun asked Eunhyuk

*is it true that I don’t care about her? But I still love her-NO Eunhyuk you hate and you don’t care about her* Eunhyuk thought

“Yes, I hate her OK?” Eunhyuk answered

“So it is final then? That we hate her and start this day we don’t know her anymore she is just a stranger in our school” Leeteuk said

“But oppa” Yoonhae was cut by Eunhyuk

“Yoonhae it’s final ok no more but” Eunhyuk said

“Okay” Yoonhae said and lowered her head

She really love her Unnie but she can’t do anything *maybe this is the time to forget my Unnie* Yoonhae thought and began to follow her oppa

--HOSPITAL—

“What happen to Mingi?” I asked the doctor

“We need to confine her to monitor her health her lungs is not cooperating well and she become weaker every day she need more re-“ Mingi interrupted the doctor

“NO I don’t want here and please Junhyung lets go out of here” Mingi said she looks more pale right now

“But Mingi”

“pleased Junhyung I still want to be happy and spend my days outside this hospital I know I will die ‘SOON’ and I don’t want to die in this place I still want to spend my remaining days with you , Yoonhae and super junior” Mingi said pleading to Junhyung

“But the doctor said that you need to be confined here” Junghyun said in worried tone, he look at Mr. Park (doctor)

“It’s ok Junhyung but please make sure that she rest well and please always accompany her and also make sure that she take her medicine every day” Mr. Park said

“Thank you Mr. Park” Mingi said and left

The rest of the day Junhyung and Mingi become closer to each other they went to amusement park, malls, and they also visit their old school. Mingi’s parent already arrived at the Korea from the states. They spend time together her parents really love her that’s why every night her mom always cry without her knowing.

And she decided to stop going to school because her parents told her that she don’t need school because they want to have more family bonding.

--At school-

“Class sit down” when Mr. Kim said that all the student become quiet

He started to checked the attendance “Lee Yoonhae”

“I’m here”

“Lee Mingi”

“….” No response

“Lee Mingi” the teacher repeat but still no response

“Where’s Mingi” the teacher asked

Suddenly there a knock on the door and Mr. Kim excuse himself and talk to that person who knocks on the door

When Mr. Kim is back the class went quiet again (when Mr. Kim was out the class was so noisy)

“Class starting this day Mingi is no more your classmate her parents already said that she will not study anymore”Mr. Kim said

“But why?”Some student asked

“They don’t tell me the reason why but I guess it involve family problem” he answered

The lesson started the students are not interested in the lesson but they need to listen.

After few more minutes the class already ended.

--At the cafeteria—

 

“Yah guys why did Mingi stop going to school? What do you think is the reason?”Heechul asked

“What did you ask? And who cares? .guys we already talk about it right? We don’t know her and we don’t care about her” Eunhyuk said

Suddenly Junhyung approach them

“Yah Eunhyuk can talk to you?”Junhyung asked

“About what?” Eunhyuk asked

“About Mingi” he simply answered

“Who is she? I don’t know her ok. And oh by the way Heechul Hyung you can asked him I know he knew the reason if why did ‘Mingi’ stop going to school” Eunhyuk said and eat his food.

“Yah! Why are you like that? Don’t you know how much Mingi suffered from you? I mean not only you but to ALL of you. You treat her like a stranger and called her b*tch? How can you do that to your girlfriend or should I say ex- girlfriend?  You don’t want to listen to her explanation, what kind of best friend are you?”Junhyung explode from his angry he can’t control it anymore

“That’s it? Are you already finished?” Eunhyuk said when suddenly junghyun’s phone rang

“Answer it maybe it is your baby Mingi” Eunhyuk said and smirked

Junhyung answered it

Person on the phone: Junhyung where are you?!

Junhyung: I’m here at school? Why what happen??

Person on the phone: Mingi!!

The person on the phone is starting to cry

Junhyung: umma what happen to Mingi? Answer me please

Junhyung is so worried

Person on the phone: we found her in her room unconscious and the doctor said she can’t take it anymore please be here she needs you

The person phone on the cried really hard

Junhyung: WHAT??!! Okay don’t worry I’ll be there

Person on the phone: please don’t tell this to super junior and Yoonhae okay,,

And she hung up the phone

When the super junior heard Mingi’s name they become curious and they also become more worried when they saw Junhyung crying

Junhyung look at super junior and stop to Eunhyuk

“I’m not yet finished to you!”Junhyung said in angry tone and started running “Junhyung can I come with you?” Yoonhae said and run towards him she can feel that something was going on, Junhyung nodded and they went to hospital

“Junhyung why are we here? I thought were going to Unnie?”Yoonhae asked in a worried tone

But she got no response so she just followed her they saw Mingi’s umma at the lobby of the hospital they approach her and asked if where is Mingi but she just point inside the ICU

When Yoonhae saw it she fell on her knees and started to cry

After Yoonhae calmed herself she approach Mingi’s umma

“Umma what happen to Unnie?” Yoonhae asked

“Yoonhae-ah Unnie is sick and she will die soon” when Mingi’s mom said it she cried again

Yoonhae got shock when she heard this

“So this is the reason why she left us?” Yoonhae said and tears are starting to flow again from her eyes

Her umma just nodded

“But why? WHY did she keep it from us??” Yoonhae said and cried really hard she cant accept the fact that her Unnie is sick and will die soon and most of all  she hate her when she just keep the pain from herself suddenly Yoonhae’s phone rang and she picked it up

“Yah! Yoonhae -ah where are you?”Ricky asked

“…”no response

“Yah! Are you okay? Are you crying? Yoonhae please answer me” Donghae said in a worried tone

“I-I’m h-ere at the h-h-hosp-pital”she said and hung up the phone and cried really hard

“Hyung did you here it? I guess something is wrong about Mingi” Kyuhyun said

“Yeah! I agree with Kyuhyun”Sugmin said

“I guess she is sick” Leeteuk said

“Eunhyuk what are we going to do?”Leeteuk asked

“Why are you asking me? Of course we will not do anything “Eunhyuk said

*what if she is really sick? What should I do?? I still love her but. ---- Eunhyuk thought

 “um-ma” Mingi said in a weak voice when her umma heard this she directly hug her

“How are you princess?”Her umma asked

“I-I’m fine umma…” she answered weakly. Yoonhae entered Mingi’s room, her facial expression is emotionless but her eyes were puffy and swollen, she was trying her best to hide to her best friend that she knew about her condition. But it is useless, the moment she saw Mingi, paler and skinnier, her tears started betraying her.

Mingi was so shock to see Yoonhae there, but she doesn’t care anymore, she wanted to spend the rest of her days with the people she loves the most.

“Unnie…..mianhae…..” Yoonhae stated in between her sobs.

“No Baby Yoon… I should be the one to apologize, I shouldn’t have kept it from you. You’re my best friend I should trusted it to you, I’m just so afraid that I will worry you. I can’t afford that to happen.” Mingi started crying also.

“You accepted it, even if the consequences of it were hatred from us? Your friends? Especially Eunhyuk oppa, your boyfriend?” Yoonhae said with a bit of sarcasm in her tone.

Yoonhae’s words were like a thousand knives stabbing on Mingi’s heart especially when Eunhyuk’s name was mentioned. “I’m so sorry for hating you unnie, I didn’t listen to your explanations. I was blinded by the hurt you brought us the day you left.”

Mingi hugs Yoonhae and caress her like a little kid.”Gwaenchana Yoonhae -ah….. I understand you, you don’t have to apologize.” She smiles at her warmly.

“Can we just forget it and fill the rest of my days with special memories?’

Yoonhae nodded while wiping her tears. “Saranghae Unnie”

“Nadooo Saranghae Baby Yoon.” She smiles but tears kept on flowing in her flawless cheeks.

-----------------------------------------At hospital hallway------------------------------------------

10 guys were panting, they run from the school cafeteria all the way to the hospital.

“Aish…! I forgot to ask Yoonhae what room Mingi noona were in!” Donghae shouted while still catching his breath. The rest of the boys glared at him and sighed in disappointment and started hitting Donghae.

“Aww! Aww..wait…wait…is that Junhyung hyung?” Donghae pointing to guy not so far away from them but still covering himself.

“Junhyung-ah…?” Leeteuk tried to get the guys attention. Junhyung turned to look whose calling him, he grinned in excitement to see the super junior boys in the hospital, but he frowns when he realized the Eunhyuk is not with them. He immediately approach them.

“Thank God you’re here. You’re finally back to your senses. I finally convinced you with my words.”

“Were really bothered with what you have told earlier.” Sungmin answered head hung low.

“And Baby Yoon was crying when Donghae called her. Seriously ….what is wrong with Mingi?” Heechul asked in a very worried tone.

Junhyung’s expression turned darker. “Hyung! Tell us what is wrong with Mingi.!” Kyuhyun asked desperately. He is too furious to know what is happening with his friend.

“Sh-she is…” the super junior boys were waiting patiently for him to continue.

“….she is d-dying in lung cancer…”

“…..she has been keeping it from you guys for so long coz she didn’t want worry you...” Junhyung continued.

The boys gasped. Eyes widen. They couldn’t believe what they’ve just heard from Junhyung. Mingi is dying? So it’s true. All their questions were now answered by that statement. Mingi is sick. That’s why she looks paler and skinnier, she also look so weak. That’s why. They pity her. They felt guilty for all the ignorance that they did to her. She was supposed to get attention, not ignorance. And also those foul words that they told her. It’s unforgivable.

“Guys?!” Junhyung snapped out the boys from their thoughts.

“It’s not the right time to pity her. We should make her happy not sadder. So erase that frown and guilt in your face. Ok? Come on..!” Junhyung is right, Mingi needs them right now to be happy. They rushed to her room to surprise her.

-------------------------------------At Mingi’s room----------------------------------

The best friends were busy chatting but they chitchat were interrupted when Junhyung entered the room and grinning like a crazy man. “What??” the girls asked in unison. They were confused why Junhyung seems to be really happy.

“I have a surprise for you.” He said while grinning.

“For me? What is it oppa?” Mingi is anticipating the surprise for her.

“Us!!!” The guys hopped inside her room.

“Oh my gosh! I missed you a lot guys. I’m so sorry—“

“Hush! Cut that out! We knew everything! And we forgive you…were also sorry for what we’ve done to you Mingi. We acted very childish.”Sungmin blurted out and started crying.

“Yah! Why are you crying?” Leeteuk smacked his head Sungmin winced in pain that brought everyone in to laughter. The room is now filled with joyful laughter and cute giggles.

Eungail turned to Junhyung and mouthed Thank you. Junhyung smiled and nodded.

“Aish.! What’s with these boys? They aren’t answering my calls. What could have happened to them? Are they ok? Is Mingi ok? WHAT??? What did I just said? Am I concern with her again? I admit it I still love her. I really miss her but she hurted me. I thought I was going to die the day she left without any reason. I cope up and promise to myself that I will hate her. But what is it I’m feeling? The moment I saw her on her 1st day of coming back in our life, all my plans of hating her were ruined. I almost cried that day but keep myself from doing it. I still convince myself to hate her; maybe she will hate me in return. But still she’s very kind to us. Even though I called her b*tch she still treated us nicely. And I have to admit I am jealous to death seeing her getting close with that Junhyung guy. Are they a couple already? Did she already forget me? Is she asking for my forgiveness for her and Junhyung enjoy their life as a couple without hesitation? Tch! They don’t really need my approval for it. I will give her the freedom she wanted, coz I can see that she is really happy with him. But what is that guy telling us earlier? What’s the matter with Mingi? Aish! His driving me crazy!”

“Oppa?! Oppa?! OPPA?!”

“Uh….huh? WHAT?!” I asked HyunLei who just snapped me out of his thoughts.

“YOU’RE SPACING OUT! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!” Hyunlei is losing her temper. She has been blabbering about a lot of things then she noticed that her boyfriend is not listening to her.

“I’m out in here.!”

“HUH?! WHAT? WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU’RE GOING HUH?!”

“Somewhere…where I can’t see you…where I can’t hear you!!”

“YOU’RE NOT LEAVING!”

“What?! Who do you think you are to stop me huh?”

I smirked. I stood up and about to leave when she grab my wrist.

“ONCE YOU LEAVE. WERE DONE! I’M TELLING YOU! I’M NOT KIDDING L.JOE!”

“Then were done.” I answered simply and continued walking.

“I need to find Mingi. I need to know if she is ok. Now were should I start finding her? Aha! At the hospital. I remembered Donghae mentioned that Yoonhae was there.” I started heading to the hospital.

“Are you sure about this noona?” Kyuhyun confirmed before going out of the room. He is tasked to be a look out. They will be escaping because the doctors did not allow her to leave.

Mingi smiled and nodded. The group manages to escape all the hospital personnel and get out of the hospital safely. They rush to the van at the parking lot and drive straight to the Lotte World. Little did they know, Eunhyuk arrived at the hospital the moment they departed.  Mingi wanted to spend a day at the amusement park. She reminisce the things they used to do before. Mingi, Yoonhae, Junhyung, and the rest of super junior arrived at the Lotte World. They enjoyed every rides. They ride as if they were back on their younger days. They laugh like little kids. Take a lot of pictures with happy smile on their faces.

“Excuse me nurse...May I know what is the room number a patient named Lee Mingi is in?” Eunhyuk asked patiently but deep inside he was really in a hurry. He wanted to scold the nurse to move faster.

“Sir, she is in room 0709.” The nursed answered politely.

“Oh-okay. Thanks.”

“Nurse, please page to the whole hospital that the patient in room 0709 is missing!!”  A male nurse said wile panting.

“0709? Missing? Mingi!!” Eunhyuk whispered.

Eunhyuk runs outside the hospital. He kept running not even sure where to go. He doesn’t know what to do. He grabbed his hand phone, hoping to contact someone who might possibly with Mingi at the moment. He ended up calling Donghae.

“Yobosaeyo?”

“HAE!!!!!! Are you with Mingi? The personnel at the hospital said that she is missing.!!!”

“Yes! She is with us… Dude, please don’t scream! It hurts you know.” Donghae said talking very far from his hand phone.

“Ah! Ok! I’m sorry… so where were you?” Eunhyuk asked in lower tune.

“We are at the Lotte World.” Donghae answered giggling

After hearing where they are Eunhyuk immediately hung up and went straight there.

“Hello? Eunhyuk? Aish! He hung up on me! That monkey!”Donghae blurted interrupting the others from what they were doing.

“What’s the matter?” YoonHae asked.

*Should I tell them that Eunhyuk hyung called? It might just ruin their mode, especially Mingi*Donghae thought. “A-aahhh... Nothing. Just a prank caller. Hehe!”

The rest just shrugged it and continued having fun. It’s getting dark already when they suddenly feel tired. They all decided to go to the Han River. Mingi is the one who requested it and they all agreed with her. Eunhyuk who had been staring at them from the moment he arrived at the Lotte World, followed them to the Han River. He didn’t know that Junhyung had been observing him since the latter noticed that Eunhyuk is at the amusement park. Leeteuk saw Eunhyuk and ask him to join them, at first Eunhyuk hesitated, but then he agreed coz he wanted to have a talk with Mingi.

Junhyung asked the others to buy some foods, but he is planning to leave Mingi alone coz he wanted Eunhyuk and Mingi to talk privately. They all agreed and left them.

Awkward silence captivated them the moment they were left. Eunhyuk decided to break the silence.

“Ehem…how are you?” He asked but looking at different directions not wanting to have an eye contact with Mingi.

“Worst…..but I feel much better…” She smiles at him.

“I-I’m sorry….” He whispered only for Mingi to hear.

“I understand…. I’m at fault…. You don’t have to say sorry… I cause you a lot of pain… I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to hurt you. I just don’t want you to worry about me… can you still forgive me?” Mingi said continuously not letting Eunhyuk to answer. She waited so long for this moment to come, now he is with her, she cant let this moment to pass.

“I forgive you… of course I will. Because….”

Mingi look at him with a bright smile.

“…….because I still love you. No matter how much I convince myself to hate you I can’t hide how much I love. How much I missed you. Mingi forgive me for all the things I have said. I know how much it hurts to hear those words.  I’m such a coward. I’m so sorry…..”

Hearing those words to the one she loves really brought tears to her eyes. Her tears kept flowing. She is so happy for what had happen to her today. She got her friends back and the love also the love of the owner of her heart.  She hugged him tightly not wanting to let go. Eunhyuk hugged her back, how he missed this sweet moment.

But it seems like good things never lasts. Few minutes later, Mingi fainted in Eunhyuk’s arms after their friends come back. They rushed her back to the hospital. Just then Eunhyuk learned about Mingi situation. He never thought that it will be this worst. He cried and cried. He is very guilty.

The next morning Eunhyuk woke up from a very bad dream. He slept at one of the sofas inside Mingi’s room in the hospital. The 1st thing that caught his eyes was the person he really loved sleeping soundly in the hospital bed. He comes near her, and unconsciously his tears started to fall. Yoonhae entered the room quietly and approached Eunhyuk, she brought her his breakfast.

“She sleeps like an angel. Isn’t she Oppa?” Yoonhae said.

Eunhyuk just nodded not leaving his eyes to his angel. “How long?” he suddenly asked.

Yoonhae cried, because she can’t pick the right words to use in telling Eunhyuk the sad news. “Its terminal oppa. We don’t know if we can still have her in the next coming days.”

Eunhyuk cried silently while holding Mingi’s hands.

Days passed by, and Mingi’s condition is getting worst than before. Eunhyuk never leaves her side because he knows that his girl needs her very much.

Mingi cough and she spits blood. Eunhyuk panicked when he so the blood he was about to go out to call for help but Mingi prevented him.

“Don’t leave me.” Mingi said weakly and started coughing again.

Eunhyuk sat on a chair beside her.  “I won’t. I won’t leave you….you go back to rest baby.”

“Thank you baby. Thank you for staying on my side all this time. I’m so sorry if I caused you a lot of trouble. Please don’t forget me.” Mingi said as she musters all her energy.

Eunhyuk started crying again. In his entire stay in the hospital, not a single day he didn’t shed tears. Almost everyday he prayed if only he could have all Mingi’s suffering thought he knows its no use. And today is not different. And he knows what will happen next.

“I love you Eunhyuk oppa. I love you with all my heart.” Mingi said to him that seems like a whisper but just enough for him to hear.

 He is not yet ready to let her go, but he wanted to end all her sufferings. He hugged her tight, he can hear her weak heartbeat and made him cried even more. She weakly ran her hand to his hair. It’s the lasting she wanted to do, to comfort the most important person in her life. Eunhyuk’s tears reached a peak and silent sobs racked his body as her hand slipped away and no longer can hear her weak heartbeat.

Eunhyuk stood up and looked down at Mingi. She look so fragile, her face was shallow. Her appearance didn’t prevent him from seeing the angel that he loves very much. Just then he noticed an envelope on her right hand. He picked it up and read what was written in the envelope “To my Love, Eunhyuk”

The letter contains all of Mingi’s apologies, love and wishes. And as what Mingi wishes him to be, he will be living the rest of his life happily while taking care of their friends.

 

“Mianhae Mingi-ah.. I regret everything..”
