AUTHOR'S NOTES : Basically a variety show hell bent on breaking couples up. The story would probably have around 8 episodes or so depending how you structure the show. Different seasons could involve different shenanigans. Kind of like hunger games but without the dying and blood or gore. If you want to turn this story into dark/gore, you can talk about deepest secrets coming to light maybe like killing, cheating, doing something terrible just for survival, and whether their partners are willing to accept that, etc. AVAILABLE JULY 07, 2018 synopsis   In a dystopian world during 3027, when resources are scarce and government gets to control who gets what, those who live outside the capital don't even have the basic neccessities to survive, much less afford marriage or children. But once a month, the capital sponsors a variety show, Lovely Tribulations, that puts # couples through tribulations with the ultimate prize of being moved to the capital. The funds neccessary for their marriage and lifestyle are amply provided to the winner. It's rare for contestants to have a winner, but maybe you and your partner have what it takes to break the losing streak. suggestions / plotlines   Season One : Couples are to live with someone else's significant other for the season, going through various competitions/missions that involve good teamwork.
Season Two : Couples are forced apart by distance for a certain amount of time.
