About the Roleplay
Kim Myungmin, the university’s founder, was born with telekinetic abilities. In school, of course, his abilities were less than embraced, and never addressed in acceptance. After finishing college and encountering several others who also possessed abilities, he decided to work towards creating a place where gifted young adults could learn to control their powers while still getting an education. As a result, Jaeneung University was founded in northeastern Pennsylvania. Seven years later, the school is still going with the original goal in mind.
Rules and Guidelines
Rule #1 —You will have to apply and reserve characters on the tumblr here. You do not need an account to apply.
Rule #2 — Respect everyone. Whether your characters get along or not, your out-of-character conduct should be amicable at least. If there’s an issue you can’t resolve like sensible people, contact an admin to mediate.
Rule #3 — Keep roleplaying to a minimum, and on a member’s wall. This is one of the most important rules: If you are under 18, do NOT engage in roleplay with anyone. If somebody, whether they are over or under 18 years of age, is caught ting with you, they can be legally punished. Don’t get your friends arrested.
Rule #4 — This roleplay is intended to be a place for fun, friends, and, of course, the struggle of being a college student. That being said, romance is perfectly fine— just try not to be what some call a ‘face-chaser’ and only go after a certain character or engage solely in shipping scenarios.
Rule #5 — If you are applying as an idol of a large group (6+ members) then you may play THREE (and no more than three) members from that group. If the group has less than 6 members, they must all be played by separate typists.
Rule #6 — Please title your application with your idol’s birthday. To reserve a character, request to do so in an ask (via tumblr). The character will be reserved for three days before becoming available again.
Rule #7 — You may apply as either a student or a professor. A professor may either teach two classes (one subject, one ability-related), or hold an extra occupation (such as adviser/counselor or clinic worker/nurse).
Rule #8 — Please try to stay away from extreme/sensitive subjects (i.e. gore, , torture, etc.) in your roleplay. If you’re not sure, ask an admin.
Rule #9 — When you create your Facebook account, put the last name in the last name slot, an the first name in the first name slot. You can go into your Account Settings and select the option that lists the last name first.
Rule #10 — Also, no Hangul/Kanji/Hiragana/etc. We’d like to be able to know your name without having to search!
Rule #11 — Don’t RP in the chat.
Rule #12 — Paragraph-style should be used for most posts, especially in the groups. Action-style is allowed on members’ walls, but either way, make sure your partner has something to reply to.
