Kyungri groaned to herself as she brushed shoulders with just about everyone in the club.

"Why the hell did I come here in the first place.." She mumbled to herself as she made her way to the bar.

Of course Kyungri knew why she was there. Today was her best friend, Minha's, birthday and the birthday girl insisted to have her party at a club with her friends. Kyungri initially refused to arrive, but she couldn't turn down her best friend.

Taking a seat, she told the bartender in front of her, whose back was faced to her, that she wanted a water. Kyungri turned around in the spinning chair to take another look at the crowd in front of her.

"Where's Minha? She better not be getting into any trouble." Kyungri thought aloud as she couldn't spot her best friend on the dance floor. She then turned around, her eyes met with the bartender across the counter, who was resting her elbows on said counter and her chin on her hands. 

She was gorgeous. Large, dark eyes that were drawn out perfectly by just enough eyeliner and wine-colored eyeshadow that contrasted with her fair skin. Kyungri's eyes slowly trailed down to the bartender's long, defined nose and then down to her plush, rose-colored lips. To top if off, the bartender's perfect face was outlined with long, straight auburn hair.

Kyungri gulped as she realized the actual situation in front of her. She had been staring at the bartender for a good ten seconds, whose face was about an inch away from hers.

Before Kyungri could say anything, the bartender pulled her lips into a slight smirk and pushed the glass of water across the counter.

"Here's your water, miss." The bartender said with a wink before turning around to fulfill another customer's order.

Kyungri sat there, slightly agape as she thought over what just happened. She soon felt self conscious and she grabbed the tall glass of ice cold water in front of her. Her hand shaked as she picked it up and took a sip, quickly scanning the area around her to make sure no one else just saw the scene that just happened. She purposely kept her gaze away from the bartender across from her, who was preoccupied with taking care of others at the bar.

When she felt her hands numb from the cold glass, Kyungri set it on the table and turned around on her spinning chair to view the dance floor again.

One dance wouldn't hurt.. Maybe I'll just go over there for one song.

The brunette sighed and slightly shaked her head. Nope, she was not going to embarrass herself on the dance floor. Kyungri fixed her bangs, pulling out the section of hair behind her ear before tucking it away again. She didn't know why, but she was suddenly worried of how she looked. The tall brunette then turned back around, only to find a different bartender in front of her and Kyungri couldn't hide the disappointment on her face. She wanted to see the previous bartender again, but at the same time she was relieved that the latter wasn't there because she could finally breathe.

Without knowing it, Kyungri found herself drinking everything but the glass of water she had earlier. She felt lightheaded but found herself walking to the dance floor with shaking legs, searching for her best friend.

"Minha.. Minha?" Kyungri said with a large smile and hooded eyes as she placed her hand on the shoulder of the girl in front of her, who she thought was her best friend.

The girl turned around with knitted eyebrows and an offended look on her face, pulling Kyungri's hand off of her shoulder.

"What the do you want?" The girl asked, brushing off her shoulder as if Kyungri had left germs all over her.

"Oh my god- I'm sorry, I thought you were my fri-" Kyungri began, returning to her original dorky self before she was cut off by the girl's laug
