Your day at work had just finished up and you couldn’t be more glad. Your co-workers were just aggravating to deal with, especially today, and you got in trouble with your boss for one small thing. Is it too much to ask for life to give you a tiny break? I guess so.

Fortunately, you were going to visit Youngjae that evening. You two planned to just hang out tonight, watch movies, and munch on junk food. The thought of being with him later is what kept you going through the day.

Before heading over from your place, you texted him.

y: hey im on my way

yj: ok, see you in a bit :)

When you arrived at the dorm a little later, you rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer. While waiting, you heard a dog barking. That must be Coco, hehe cutie.

“Y/N! Hello,” he exclaimed opening the door. Coco was barking at you and hopped up on your legs. You pet her head and smiled at her. When Youngjae got her off you, you pulled you into a hug. You squeezed him back.

“I’m so glad to see you,” you said, letting go of him. You walked in and plopped yourself on the couch with a sigh. Youngjae closed the door and sat himself next to you. As he was about to start talking, Coco rubbed up against his leg, so of course he picked her up, and sat her on his lap.

He pet her while asking, “Bad day?” He looked at you while asking, but looked back down at Coco.

You rolled your eyes as you started to explain.

“You have no idea. I swear, I wish people would lighten up sometimes, like I know their lives are hard so can’t they give me a break!” You went on about your day and how everything just went in the wrong direction. You realize that he didn’t look at you the whole time you were ranting and stopped.

“Youngjae, are you even listening to me?” You asked, slightly aggravated. He looked up at you surprised at first, but then nodded.

“Yes, 자기야, I’m listening,” he replied calmly. You were suspicious at first, but decided to trust his words. You then continued talking about your day. Once again, you noticed that he was paying more attention to Coco than he was to you. You felt a little upset that you were being placed as second underneath a puppy. He sees her all the time and I’m only here for now. I’m pouring my whole heart out, and he won’t even turn to look at me?!…Wait. I am NOT getting jealous over a puppy.  [Jagiyah]

To cool down, you decided to grab something to drink from the kitchen.

“Hey Youngjae, I’ll be right back, i’m going to get something to drink.”

“Kay,” he said, not even raising his head to look at you.

You opened the fridge to see what they had. It was more to lower your internal body temperature, but still you looked for something to quench your thirst. After five minutes of rummaging through the fridge, you finally decided on the drink you first saw -Cola.

Once you poured some cola into a glass, you walked back into the living room. To your ‘surprise’, Youngjae was still in the same spot, playing with Coco.

“So, as you were saying?” he prodded you to continue. You weren’t sure whether or not you should actually go on, since he obviously seemed preoccupied. However, you decided to go on anyways.

“And as I was going to start, someone-” you once again stopped short.

“What?” he asked.

 "You must really love her.”

“Yeah, she’s so cute and adorable! Mark and I got her at a pet store and she’s just a lil tiny thing. We couldn’t resist her, she’s the princess of GOT7. Isn’t she really cute, Y/N?”

“Well…I guess.”

“You guess? She’s a puppy!” he asked, surprised.

“Yes, she’s cute and adorable, then! But aren’t I cute too?” you asked.

“Of course, Y/N! Why wouldn’t I think so?”

“Because I came over to spend time with you but you’ve been playing with Coco the whole time I’ve been here.”

“Aw, 자기, are you jealous? I’m sorry,” he pouted. “But I can’t just leave her…”[Jagi]

“I know that, but you can pet her and look at me at the same time you know…I would appreciate a little bit of attention.”

“Okay, okay,” he turned his body to face you completely.

“Now, please go on about your day.” He told you. Finally, you went on about the whole day you had. All about how you missed an important call because you temporarily lost your phone, and how co-workers expected perfection from you. You let it all out.

“Aw, I’m sorry to hear about your bad day, Y/N. Buuuut, I know what will make you feel better!” He reached across the couch to grab the remote control and turn the tv on. When he changed inputs, a bright red screen with the word NETFLIX  showed up.

“Now, what movie should we watch?”

Not too far into the movie, you saw Youngjae starting to doze off. You smiled and covered him up with the blanket. Before leaving the couch, you kissed his forehead.

Making your way to the door, you head little taps on the floor, only to find Coco next to your feet. Guess you’re a late night owl, you smiled.

When you opened the door, you heard her whimper. You stooped down and pet her head. 

“I’ll be back soon! And before then, keep an eye on Youngjae, okay?” Coco your hand, and you took that as an answer for Okay!
