The darkness of the bar masked the idiots lurking around in hopes to get lucky later in the night. Donghae stared at the bartender while he would smile politely each time he was asked to refill his drink.  “Be careful.” The bartender warned, “I don’t want you to do something you’d regret tonight,” He smiled gently after he refilled Donghae’s alcoholic beverage. It was Donghae’s first drink- well drinks, and at first he was hesitant and couldn’t believe he would even go that far. He knew how unstable drunk people can be, so he had always avoided alcohol. He had always been careful with every decision he has ever made. He was raised in a rich home with stringent parents and he was the epitome of a perfect child. His grades had always been beautiful, his friends were strategically picked, his diction was polished and most importantly his relationships were carefully selected as well.

            Donghae was always careful.

            Except for today.

In the morning, he had received a wedding invitation that made him curse his every past decision in his life. The wedding invitation was for the union of his brother, Yunho and his first love Jessica Sooyoun Jung and even though Donghae was completely over his first love, he still couldn’t believe that she was marrying his own brother. Donghae couldn’t stop thinking about the last thing Jessica had said to him because it was tattooed into his soul. Jessica had told Donghae that he was too uptight, he was boring, and he needed to learn how to loosen up and not strategically plan everything in his life, or else he would die bitter, and alone.

Donghae’s heart ached but the alcohol successfully numbed him. He was enraged, desperate to do something drastic that would make Jessica- and everyone else that knows how uptight he is, to eat their words. He wanted to change because he couldn’t imagine himself going to that wedding any other way. He craved for a change. He squeezed his eyes shut and began to strategically plan how he’ll change. Step one, drink until you pass out.

            Check.

“Thank you,” Donghae mumbled weakly before he grabbed the glass and chugged it down, but he struggled not to gag on the bitter taste. He was oblivious to all of the stares the older men around would give him. He felt uncomfortable because he was out of place, but he knew he had to do this. Donghae exhaled deeply, and glanced around at the blurred bodies that grinded against each other’s. He closed his eyes and then looked back at his empty glass, “I can’t do this,” he concluded with a discouraged tone, but seconds later a man sits in the chair beside him. Donghae struggled to look at his blurry face, but when his vision focused he saw that the man stared at him as if he was something to eat. The alcohol was taking its effect on Donghae, and he mentally cursed himself for being reckless, “Not interested.” he slurred, and pushed the man’s touchy hand off of his leg, but the man only inched closer to the drunken latter.

“You’re so y,” He purred into his ear, and the stench of his musky cologne invaded Hae’s senses, and nearly drowned him. He tried to push him away but it was useless, he didn’t move an inch away from him. “I want you,” his hand continued to his legs, and he tried to steal a kiss from Donghae. Donghae was so damn irritated that he pushed him away hard enough to send him down to the floor.

“Do not touch me!” He glared at him, but he was a very blurry figure. Donghae struggled to walk off, bright lights began to flash and it blinded him. Sweating figures made their way past him as they swayed together in movement; he was in a bad part of the city. He cursed himself once more as he stumbled out of the building but he leaned against the wall. He inhaled deeply and his eyes widened when he saw people fighting nearby.

Donghae was blacking out but he caught a glimpse of someone with light blue hair.

And then everything went black for him and he passed out on the floor.

Eunhyuk had been fighting with some random guy for the hell of it, but then his eyes landed on the brunette that stood out from the rest. The guy he was fighting with took advantage of his distraction and punched him across his lip- blood gushed out and Eunhyuk glared at him. Eunhyuk knocked him out with one final blow across his cheek. He slowly approached the unconscious boy and frowned a bit as he stared at his face. He knew he had never seen him before and based on the expensive, designer clothes he wore he was sure that he wasn’t from there. “Are you lost?” Eunhyuk mumbled.

He was conflicted with what he should do. He couldn’t leave him there because he’d get mugged for sure, and he couldn’t deny that he was intrigued by him. He effortlessly threw the unconscious man over his shoulder and headed home.

When Donghae awoke the next morning, he groaned in discomfort from the cheap mattress and itchy blanket over him. He threw it to the side and whined when he felt his head throbbing- he felt as if a train had run into his head a hundred times. He kept his eyes closed, but slowly the realization of not knowing where he was made him panic instantly. He scrambled away and ended up falling off of the twin bed. He groaned pitifully.

“Woah, relax, honey buns I didn’t do anything to you last night.” His deep voice startled Donghae and when he looked at him his eyes only widened at the sight. Eunhyuk’s short hair was a bright light blue, he had many piercings on his face like the left side of his nose, his eyebrow was pierced, and he had spider bites. He also had a punctured wound near his lips and Donghae knew he had gotten into a fight. He had sleeve tattoos on both of his arms and Donghae couldn’t help but notice how the black wifebeater made Eunhyuk’s biceps stand out. He gulped, but Eunhyuk only smiled wider as his voice turned playful, “But I did think about doing dirty things to you since you were being a little tease with your moans in your sleep.” He smirked when Donghae’s face turned pink.

“Honey buns?” Donghae managed to croak. He didn’t want to comment on anything else because he was too embarrassed.

“You have a sweet .” He winked.

He nearly lashed out on him, but then his eyes slowly widened when an idea sunk into his throbbing mind. He eyed Eunhyuk up and down, and then he looked around at the tiny, mess of a place he lived in. He knew Eunhyuk was flat out broke, and by his state he concluded that he was the mess Donghae needed in his life.

Eunhyuk was trouble, and that was perfect for Donghae.

Eunhyuk slowly frowned when he saw the bright eyes and small smile that formed on the latter’s visage. “You are perfect.” Donghae nearly shook from excitement.

Eunhyuk smirked lightly, “Well I wouldn’t say perfect, but-” he quickly frowned, “Wait, perfect for what exactly?”

“I will pay you for your services,” Donghae was desperate.

“Woah, hunbuns, you don’t have to pay for . I’m more than willing to please-” Eunhyuk kneels in front of him and tried to crawl closer to him but Donghae scoffed and held his hand out in front of him.

“That is not what I meant. I want you to complete a task for me- well, a few tasks actually. It won’t be difficult, I promise, but it might be a little uncomfortable.” He nodded. “My family believes I am perfect, and being with a man would be enough to ruin my reputation.”

Eunhyuk only stared at him, “Now I know what they mean when they say he was perfect…until he opened his mouth.” He exhaled and looked away. “Do you always talk like that?”

“What do you mean?” Donghae looked puzzled, but Eunhyuk only shook his head.

“Just tell me what you want from me.” Eunhyuk frowned. He couldn’t deny that Donghae was really handsome, but he was unsure of how to feel about him.

“Shall I start from the beginning?” Donghae inched closely to Eunhyuk as if he were going to tell him a secret. He didn’t comment on how uncomfortable sitting on the floor was because he didn’t think the bed was any better.

“Sure.” Eunhyuk half smiled at him.

Donghae began telling him everything about his life. “I don’t expect you to understand what it’s like to constantly feel a pressure to be perfect. I’ve tried so hard to stay away from any trouble-”

            “So you’re boring?” Eunhyuk deadpanned.

That stung a little, but Donghae played it off and half shrugged. “You could say that….” He cleared his throat. “I can’t go back home like this, Eunhyuk. I want to go through a drastic change so that they could see that I’m no longer the same cautious fool. I want to be different. I want my whole family to see me as a new, better person. Please, Eunhyuk, I am begging you to help me.”

“What exactly are you asking of me?” Eunhyuk asked but by the way he smiled at Donghae, they knew he was already in on the plan.

“Eunhyuk, will you become my enticing lie?”

            Eunhyuk smirked, “I’d be honored.”

Donghae gave Eunhyuk the power to do whatever he wanted in Donghae’s transformation- which in itself was already too crazy to him. How could he give someone he didn’t even know that much power over him? He was too focused on showing up to the wedding that he couldn’t think too much of anything else. Eunhyuk was kind, but also too eager to elicit Donghae’s inner daredevil. First, he took Donghae skydiving which immediately freaked the latter out. “Eunhyu I-I can’t!” Donghae nearly pissed his pants as Eunhyuk encouraged him to get on the plane.

Eunhyuk was smiling from ear to ear, “Aw come on! Don’t be a chicken! This will be so much fun.” He beamed.

Donghae was trembling as he stared at the airplane. “Why would you compare me to a bird?” he pouted and Eunhyuk’s eyes widened as he became hypnotized by him. “I-I don’t know.” He whimpered softly. Eunhyuk sighed deeply, faced him directly before he placed his hands on Donghae’s arms. Donghae’s eyes widened and he blushed as he looked Eunhyuk in his eyes.

“Listen, I know that this is scary, but you’re going to have to trust me. I know what I’m doing. After we’re done with this you’re going to realize that anything is possible.” He smiled brightly. Donghae’s eyes widened as he listened attentively.

            “You promise?”

Eunhyuk chuckled and nodded, “Promise.” He vowed.

Donghae trembled as he got inside the plane and it was worse when it was in the air. He was so sure he would puke his guts out when Eunhyuk helped him put on his parachute. Donghae clung onto Eunhyuk’s arm and whined softly, “If I die-”

“Yah, that’s not going to happen!” He shook his head, took hold of Donghae’s hand and smiled, “Ready?” Donghae exhaled deeply and nodded. With that signal, Eunhyuk pulled him forward and they jumped together. At first, Donghae could feel a strong feeling take hold of his chest and throat, but when he calmed himself down he realized how liberating he felt. For the first time, he finally let go. He screamed out of fear at first but then it turned into shrieks of excitement. Eunhyuk laughed and grasped his hand gently.

When they finally reached the ground, Donghae ran into the elder’s arms and laughed happily. “That…” he exhaled deeply, “THAT WAS AMAZING!!” he laughed loudly. “I feel…” he breathed heavily, “I feel so alive!” he continued to laugh happily and Eunhyuk smiled brightly as he watched Donghae completely change before him. “We have to do that again!”

Eunhyuk laughed, “No, I have a better idea. What is something that crazy couples do?” he leaned in closely to Donghae’s face as he spoke in a teasing voice. Donghae gulped as his mind went straight to the gutter; he blushed.

            “W-What?” Donghae’s eyes widened.

“Matching tattoos.” Eunhyuk mouthed with an excited smirk before he took Donghae’s hand and dragged him away.

Eunhyuk sat Donghae down on a chair and beamed. “I don’t think this is a good idea. I mean, aren’t they permanent?” he turned to look at the tattooist, “Do you have any that will wash off?” he smiled innocently while the tattooist rolled his eyes.

Eunhyuk chuckled, “Oh come on, it can be a small one!”

Donghae stared at him up and down, “You have no room for a tattoo!” He scanned the tattoos that decorated his arms and smiled to himself.

Eunhyuk held up his hand and wiggled his fingers, “Finger tattoo?”

Donghae’s eyes widened, “Are you crazy?! How am I supposed to get a job with a finger tattoo?” he started to panic at the thought but then he realized that the way he was reacting would be the way his parents would react. He smiled to himself but then mumbled, “I don’t like that idea.”

“Well too bad honey buns because you said I can do whatever I want and this is what I want.” He smirked. “We should get a tattoo of two honey buns and a disco stick in between them.” He smirked proudly while Donghae’s cheeks turned bright red. He smacked Eunhyuk’s arm and Eunhyuk only laughed loudly. “It’ll be unique. It’ll be cute!” he sounded so excited that Donghae couldn’t help but consider it for a moment.

“No! I want one that’s classy.” He nodded.

Eunhyuk scoffed and mumbled, “Fine.” He hummed while he thought of another tattoo idea. “We should get something cheesy…”

Donghae grinned, “Like a lock and a key?” he giggled but then frowned when Eunhyuk looked genuinely excited. “I’ll be th

Chapter 1: Omg, this was so crazy and sweet at the same time. These two a really match made in heaven. From the way the parents reacted I had to say, they really deserve this and even more. Maybe Donghae should threaten his parents to turn back into his crazy self from time to time, when they overdo their prejudices. I could imagine him sets his family in horror when he explains that he wants his boyfriend to spend christmas with them XD They really have the power to smash up every family event. Wish we could read about their own wedding XD Thank you so much for writing and sharing this with us. It was a fun reading❤️
