Description
When college senior and baseball player Park Bom is given one final chance to prove her worth in the annual university world championship league, the last thing she expected to find at the end of a homerun were two star-struck little boys staring back at her in admiration.
Foreword
For as long as she could remember, her life had been all about baseball. There was nothing that could even possibly compare to the thrill of a triumphant win, the camaraderie forged between teammates during trainings and games. All her hard work drawing blood, wiping away sweat with dirtied hands and shedding tears of either joy or regret would pay off just simply holding that trophy high in the air, up for everyone to see.
She’d never loved anything more than baseball – it was all she knew.
