something in the water

Description

Normally Seungcheol would hesistate to pull a cliche and say that the day he met Jeonghan changed his life, but really, it had.

Foreword

Seungcheol truly believed it was fate that the day he was late to class for the actual first time in his life and consequently had to pick up a tardy referral from the school office also happened to be the same day that Jeonghan transferred into his school. It was fate that the usual student office aide happened to be absent that day, it was fate that the guidance counselors were too busy with underclassmen standardized testing to be bothered showing a new student around, and it was fate that Seungcheol happened to be on good terms with the counselor's secretary, who, rather than giving Seungcheol a tardy referral, got him out of class altogether to show the quiet, brown-haired new student around, who was all too grateful to be saved from sitting in the office lobby for any longer. So really, if Seungcheol thought about it, he had never been a big believer in fate until that day, because honestly, how else could he explain the fact that he had started out his day convinced it would be the worst day ever, yet he ended up being exactly where he needed to be?
