The couple sat with a blanket spread out under them and a basket full of food before them. Today they felt the cool breeze rubbing against their skin and the mild sun beaming down at them. Nobody but them in the open field, they enjoyed the presence of each other. Jongin packed the foods he knew Taemin would love, along with Baekhyun's help of course. Sandwiches, mashed potatoes, chicken, dessert and lemonade. They sat together and nibbled on the sandwiches in comfortable silence.

                         "Do you think Jinki's okay?", Taemin asked for tenth time in the last ten minutes. And Jongin rolled his eyes for the tenth time in the last ten minutes.

                         "Baby he's fine. I'm sure your parents are handling him very well.", he assured.

                         "But this is his first time with them alone, what if he starts-"

                         "Taemin he's fine.", Jongin replied gently.

                         "Alright, but as soon as we finish we're going to see him."

                         "As you wish."

                         They continued to eat while enjoying their time alone. Until Jongin came up with the most random thing.

                         "How did it feel?", he asked 

                         "What?", he made a face of confusion.

                         "How did it feel when Jinki came out?"

                         "Jongin really?!"

                         "Yeah. I've been wondering that since Jinki was born but didn't know when to ask you."

                         "So now was the right time? On our date?!"

                         "Well I guess not now since you're yelling at me."

                         "Kim Jongin I worry about you sometimes.", he laughed.

                         "So you're not gonna answer me?", he said quietly.

                         "No! Not now.", he laughed and ruffled Jongin's hair.

                         "Hey I did it up extra special for you.", he whined.

                         "I know baby, it looks lovely. Well...did.", he doubled over in laughter.

                         After that Jongin opened up the dessert and cut Taemin a piece of cake, then cut a piece of his own. Taemin put the cake in his mouth and moaned at his delicious it was and how it melted in his mouth. Jongin gave a small smile knowing that Taemin enjoyed the cake he (Baekhyun) made. 

                        "Baekhyun did a good job.", Taemin commented.

                        "What?! I helped too!", he defended.

                        "Oh i'm sorry Jonginie. You did a good job too." He went over to kiss Jongin on the cheek.

                        "Thanks baby."

                        Taemin finished his cake and gave a small sigh.

                        "Everything was really good. Thank you for making me lunch."

                        "Your welcome Taeminie.", he said proudly.

                        "You ready to go?"

                        "No, not yet. Just , uh, wait here.", he said. Jongin then raced to to Chanyeol's car. He was so thankful that he let Jongin barrow it for their picnic date. Jongin came back a few minutes later, carrying a stereo system. He clicked on the play button and one of Taemin's favorite songs came on. All of Me by John Legend.

                        "Dance with me.", Jongin said. He held out his hand for him to take it. Taemin immediately hopped up from the blanket and let Jongin hold him in his arms. Together they danced across the field, moving to the slow rhythm of the music. Taemin felt the light tears of joy running down his face. Jongin wiped the tears with his thumb, and leaned in to kiss Taemin's soft lips. Their lips molded perfectly, he enjoyed every second of it.

                        "I love you Jongin.", he said between sniffles.

                        "I love you too Taeminie.", he smiled and pecked him on the lips one last time.

                        When they were done, they packed up everything and went back to the car. After making sure they got everything they drove off towards Taemin's parents place.

                        "Mom! Dad!", Taemin called out.

                        "In the kitchen honey."

                        They headed towards the kitchen to see Jinki.

                        "Hey guys. How's Jinki doing?"

                        "Wow, no how you doing mom? How has your day been?", she faked hurt.

                        "Mom, you know-"

                        "I'm just kidding sweetie. He's doing fine, he's actually taking a nap upstairs."

                        "Oh okay, I guess i'll just leave him then. Do you mind if you keep him for a few more hours?"

                        "Sure baby, he's an angel. We really don't mind.", she replied gently.

                        "Thanks Mrs. Lee, we just wanted to stop by and see how he was doing."

                        "You welcome."

                        With that, they turned to leav
