Trigger warnings: Panic attacks, car crash

This is loosely based on something that happened to me several months back. For awhile now I've been dealing with a variety of health issues, one of which is a panic disorder. That basically means that I have panic attacks that are triggered by absolutely nothing, so they can come on anytime and anywhere.

I've had several while driving, but one evening I was driving away from work and started o have one. It was pretty bad and there was nowhere on the road that I could pull off for it to pass. I finally made it to a nearby parking lot and by then the panic attack had mostly passed, but it was extremely terrifying since I had almost no control over myself for those several minutes when I was driving. I didn't actually get into an accident, but I ended up writing this fic anyway as a way of me channeling my fear of what happened.
