We are in Vancouver, but its' education system became slightly different. 

Elementary school is from Kindergarden until 6th grade. There are no Middle schools, only High Schools, which are from 7th grade until 11th grade. 
After High school, you can attend College which lasts for around 2 years and you finally get to University. In other words, College is grade 12 and grade 13,
