What Fishie Sees, Fishie Hogs
Description
Kyuhyun/Donghae. Kyuhyun has to share a hotel bed with Donghae. Apparently, Donghae likes to hog the covers.
Foreword
The First Night
Kyuhyun was halfway into sleep when he felt his side of the blanket slowly sliding off him. He grunted and grabbed a chunk of it, yanking it over to his side. Warmth slowly returning, and he smiled, content.
It wasn't for long. One second, two seconds. Suddenly the blanket slipped off his body again, this time in one swift jerk. He shrieked, feeling the sudden zap of the cold. He turned around and frantically grabbed for the warm thick sheet, but there was equally strong force resisting on the other end of it.
"Hyung!" he called out, very much annoyed. The figure in the dark only groaned.
"Let go!" Kyuhyun tugged forcefully at his end of the blanket, now only reaching as far as the middle of the bed. Donghae had gotten exactly 83,25% of it for himself (Kyuhyun was really good with Math).
The older man mumbled something in a low grunt, but he began releasing the blanket a little. Kyuhyun pulled and pulled, then lied down on his back. It barely covered half of his body, his left arm and leg still dangling out in the cold. He tugged again, now shifted to lie on his side, but with each pull he would receive the same, equal force from the other side. It was almost like a Physic class—for every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction—he could hear his middle school Physics teacher was saying. After a while testing the Newton’s third law, he finally gave up and decided to just make do with what part that he had.
But damn was it cold.
In his many years touring with the group, he never found a hotel room this cold. It was like Pluto in here.
He had tried the knob beside the bed that said 'Temperature', turned it to 25°C. Still cold. He turned it again to 28. 30. 35. Still no change. Was it broken, or did the people in this country were just that fond of being frozen to death in their sleep? Still, he could probably have coped with it if he also wasn't forced to share a bed—and a blanket—with Donghae, who proved to be a big time professional blanket hogger. And as much as he adored and loved his hyung, this was the matter of survival.
