Forelsket
Description
They're fumbling their way into something different and strange and new. They don't know what to call it yet, so Mino saves it as 'Americanos 101.' Wait, we're still talking about the song right? One-shot.
Foreword
Mino was just as busy as she was, but he always made a point of speaking to her at least once a day, even if it was a brief, 'Hi. I'm drinking coffee and thinking of you today.' YoungJi would be lying if she said she didn't look forward to those moments, especially since he still made the effort when she was in another country altogheter. So it was no surprise that he called late one evening while she was in the car. SeungYeon poked at her smile when she heard the 'I'm Him' ringtone and YoungJi swatted her away to pick up her phone, her voice dropping shyly,
“Hel-”
“Your body is a temple!”
GyuRi looked up from her phone from the back because Mino blurted it out so loudly that HaRa turned around to stare from the front seat. YoungJi blinked, surprised.
“Um…o-okay,” She said finally, “Sure, my body’s a temp-”
“Right!” Mino said fervently. “So it’s a sacred, special space and you can’t just let anything in it, do you understand?”
“I…I guess so?” YoungJi frowned, not even minding that SeungYeon had pressed her ear against the other side of the phone and that HaRa had turned the radio completely down so she could listen in too, “Mino, what’re you-”
“You have to take good care of it,” He went on, “You have to eat well, and exercise often-”
YoungJi mouthed ‘WTF’ to HaRa’s confused expression.
YoungJi mouthed ‘WTF’ to HaRa’s confused expression.
“-so you can’t go around, letting just anyone toss their milkshake all over your body, ah, temple, whatever!!”
GyuRi clamped a hand over to stop from laughing out loud and YoungJi choked out,
“M-Mino! What is wrong with you??”
(“So if her body is a temple,” SeungYeon reasoned, “Are milkshakes supposed to be-”)
“And who says that milkshakes are better for you than Americanos anyway?”
(“Is he still talking about temples?” HaRa asked in a hissed whisper.
“No.” SeungYeon responded, frowning. “I think we’re talking about...coffee now?”
“Ooh.” GyuRi clapped her hands. “I could go for coffee now actually. Oppa! Can we make a pitstop??”)
“…and milkshakes are super sugary and sweet, anyway. And they have milk and that’s going to give you gas and indigestion and neither are y or cute, trust me.”
YoungJi had to laugh, “Mino!”
“But coffee wakes you up when you’re feeling tired.” He said passionately. “It gives you energy to get through your hardships throughout the day.”
“Wha-!”
“Just don’t drink milkshakes anymore!”
(It doesn't make a lot of sense.
