Wendy only agrees to go join a book club when her best friend Seulgi 'encourages' her to try something new. And by new, Seulgi meant to get closer to her crush, Irene Bae, the president of the book club.  

When Wendy gets fired from her job as a singer in a rising girl group, she loses everything and has nowhere to go. A sympathetic stranger recognizes her and offers her a place to stay hoping that Wendy can be a distraction for his depressed sister, Irene Bae.
