Jaebum was afraid of what everyone would think of him if they found out. There was a chance that everyone would hate him and he'd eventually get kicked out of the band. Because of that he decided to keep it a secret from his band members. The only thing he hadn't relized was this secret he was keeping wasn't much of a secret at all.
