Hello everyone~~

I’m Vivien, I live in Canada,  I’m your typical K-Pop addict, I love quite a number of groups, I have more details below but I’ll just tell you the basics: I adore DBSK, SHINee, Super Junior, CN Blue, Beast, SNSD, f(x), EXO (mostly m because I can understand them, #chinesepride ), Miss A, and 2pm. I also love a lot of songs by other artists that aren’t on this list, but I just might not know the members that well T~T

Groups~

Confession time: I used to love SHINee, so so much. I loved that they were the cutest things in the world, with bright, cheery, unique personalities. I loved Onew Sangtae, Flaming Charisma Minho, umma Key, the baby Taemin, and Dino Jonghyun. I listened to just about every song, and even tried to learn their dances. They made me cry and squeal with happiness. Until . . .

When DBSK made me cry for real, I was pushed face-first into Cassiopeia. I was browsing through youtube when I realized that I haven’t watched one of the most well-known songs of K-Pop: Mirotic. Clicking on it thinking it would just be a song made popular because of the group’s popularity, I was dead wrong. The effects were horrible, and the video is not well-done, but their singing struck me.  I got more and more curious about this group, and became a little fan until I heard Bolero. I bawled.

To this day, I still don’t know the distinct qualities that made me love the Gods of the East more. I mean, SHINee is equally funny, perhaps cuter, younger especially, and had a long way to go before disappearing in the entertainment industry. But SHINee has never made me cry, I cried when I read DBSK’s separation stories, cried when I found out they’re coming back mid-year, cried when I read their quotes, cried listening to many other songs, something about them triggered tears so easily.

So here’s to the Gods of K-Pop, even though it’s hard to admit, I know that many newer fans of K-Pop won’t ever get to know DBSK as it is. I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you guys first started, or when you split, when you needed every last fan, but I know that Cassiopeia needs as many fans as they can, so here I am. I love you guys, don’t ever give up, keep fighting, and remember that everyone is here for you. <3
