Hellooo~ This is taeguvnus, but you can call me Nesia ^^

I'm still pretty much unknown to the fanfic reading community (annnnd just in general tbh ahaha...) but! I thought I would leave some info here about myself (as an author) in case you wanted to know a bit more about me!

 

Firstly, I'm no stranger to the worlds of fanfiction, or writing...but I am new to the world of fanfiction writing ;w;

I read a few things in my younger days (I really am glad I don't remember the actual works themselves *hides from my past*), but they weren't related to BTS, or K-Pop in general. I became an ARMY in the summer of 2016, before WINGS era ^^ but it wasn't until around December that year that I actually read a BTS fanfic. That fanfic was "For You" by author fallforjungkook-nim! To be honest, before that point, I was hesitant about reading K-Pop fanfic, because I felt a bit embarrassed about it- not in an ashamed way, but in an "Okay I'm super shy about this *fidgets*" way, if that makes sense lol. However! I completely fell in-love with "For You", and later its sequel, "like a butterfly~"

What captured me was the natural, slice-of-life-ish way the stories were presented, and how well the author sort of adapted Jungkook's personality. I really loved all of that! And surprisingly, I became inspired to write my own story with a similar style hehe... ;u; And that's how Delicate was born.

From sometime in early 2017, I started writing my fanfic with Taehyung and my original female character at the centre of it. It was honestly the messiest thing ever :'D At that time, I'd known that I wanted to make a story, but I had no idea where to start or where to lead it to! Still, I was grateful to have conceived about half a million scenarios in my brain, which I would later end up picking from to put together what we now have as the story, Delicate. To be honest though... it's actually extremely different from what I'd started with, and I always find myself feeling half regretful and half relieved about that. On one hand, I've managed to create a much more stable and realistic story, which is what I really wanted for the most part- but on the other hand...I ended up cutting out some loveable characters and quite a few scenes that I'd liked TT It's okay though! I still have those drafts lying around; they won't be used, but I hope to share them with you one day, sort of like bonus clips ^^

As I've mentioned, I'm no stranger to the world of writing either. As a child, I loved to read and I wrote a lot of short stories of my own as I learned new words and ways to express things and whatnot. I even branched out into poems and song lyrics at some point! That isn't to say that I was good at any of it though, hehehe~ Still, I always had a blast with writing, and that's what I wanna do now too. I actually believe that, after a long period of not writing anything, I'm simply not as good a writer as I was in the past. I think I was a better writer in 2017, when I started my fanfic. I can feel it when I read my newer drafts and compare them to my older ones u.u' Nevertheless, I hope that my writing will be comfortable for you to read and that you'll enjoy Delicate all the way from Side A to Side B! (And yes, that is a confirmed thing. Side B). I'll continue to work hard on the story and enjoy it as much as I can too. I'm a reader too, after all!
